Zelda Sykes Novels & Stories

Zelda Susan Wenger was half-dragged, half-carried out of the ward. I, Zelda Liamson, was too lazy to stay in the ward any longer, so I followed her out. Susan’s face was pale, and she looked weak all over, but her scarlet eyes burned with hatred as she stared at me. “I’m done, don’t be so proud! The wedding was ruined, your husband disappeared on the wedding day to pick up his childhood love, and you... !”

Every instinct screams at me to turn back to the safety of the bridge. The canopies of the remaining pods suddenly open, exposing my companions still in hibernation, utterly unaware of the impending danger. The monitors have either malfunctioned, or this is a safety device. I force myself not to panic as my breathing becomes labored from the lack of oxygen. I have almost reached Beth. She stares up at me, and I can see relief in her eyes. There is no time to consider the consequences. I rip out her tubes and remove the restraints. Globular clusters of blood and fluid float upward to the widening fracture and disappear. Beth stretches out a hand, “Skye, help me,” she whispers.

I'm not sure why I'm surprised by this, but I am. Seyla smiles at me and nudges me with her elbow. "You look like you've seen a ghost, Maeve. Breathe" she says jokingly. I force a laugh and we start walking. "Do you braid your hair yourself? Can you teach me how to braid? I've never been good at braids, and my dads weren't either." the bubbly red-head, Lyra, practically shouts at me. I look at her. She's pretty. Really pretty. But I can already tell her energy will be an absolute nightmare.

We will go down after them. Bailewick suddenly realised that he had just thrown the monarchy of this operation into the hands of a starry-eyed child. "Maybe we will discuss this later." Bailewick said, trying to shut down her idea in the nicest way possible. "No. This is seriously important." Zephyra said. "If only we could get my mother's spell book." "The queen left her spell book back in the castle." Bailewick said. "Oh." Said Zephyra. "Then whe have no other choice but to meet Mr James."

Zelda was on my side, wasn’t she? “She came to help me think of ways to push Katherine out,” I said quietly. She smiled. “I see you haven’t given up on that huh,” “Why would I?” I said and laughed. “She doesn’t belong here.” Zelda looked away at the flowers. “I’m just saying… be careful. You think Dacre doesn’t notice things, but he does.” I rolled my eyes. “If he noticed anything, I wouldn’t be in this house.” Zelda didn’t laugh. She stared at me, serious now. “Exactly. You’re still in this house. Don’t ruin that. That girl has power now. Not real power, but the kind that makes people soft. Sympathy. She’s pregnant.”

Moving out the door, it slowly closes behind me. Kate POV I have heard people visiting me off and on when I was semi alert. I had heard Colby begging me to come back to him, Lily crying and wishing she had been here for me. She told me a little bit about Jared, but I didn’t think things were going as well as she tried to convey. Beta Reid and Gamma John were in to tell me they had found our missing she-wolf. Between tracking the rogues who had escaped and getting some intel from the rogue they had captured; they were able to track her down.

she really is the girl, she is Theodore’s sister. “Have some rest mother Esma.” Aria said and they walked away. I closed my door and sat on the bed with my head in my hands. If Theodore only knew Becca is actually his sister. Yes, Zelda had a daughter for Ezekiel, but that monster ordered for the child to be killed and Alexandra supported. Zelda didn’t even get to hold her daughter in her arms. Flashback: twenty four years ago ««« Zelda kept crying and mourning over her dead child.

- I reached a final decision after pondering on it for a while. "Okay. I'll send you the details, I'm leaving now" - she turned to the meek girl with the huge framed glasses. "She's in your hands now" - she smiled before heading out the door. Without Rachel around, my attention turned to the young lady, "I believe introductions are in order. My name is Selene Woods and you?" - I initated a formal introduction between us both. "Bennett Gale, I'm an intern at the agency and I'm also a big fan of your movies, ma'am" - she spoke excitedly with a big grin on her face.

Persephone told her and everyone halted upon hearing it, vexed what could happen. “Who are you talking about?” Freya asked sternly. Persephone smirked darkly and told her the name of the person who stole the relic in the first place, “Zadicus Snyder.”

How can I let it go like this? The bastard who hurt her is going to be dead soon. Eventually, a week after, Brayden Marshall was beheaded by Prince Rhyker.
