At the same moment, the Dark was roused, heading towards the undead in a death-dealing wave. Zomzom twitched in a fit of horror, but he couldn’t move. His limbs froze. He felt as if he’d turned into a puppet. A doll with only his eyes alive.

Because of fear, they ran rapidly to ask for help. Just a few minutes later, the three men arrived at the nearest city thugs station to report what they witnessed. However, they saw that the city thugs were currently fighting a group of zombies. Those zombies are weird, only black circles can be seen in their eyes and their eyeballs seem to be gone. Their color is pale and they can move quickly like a monkey. They don’t fall into normal attacks. Only beings with spiritual power have the ability to overthrow them. - At Crow ax gang main station, Velmont island.

[Juliet's POV] The music at the celebration party continued. Surrounded by a crowd, Alison basked in the crowd's repetitive praises. Suddenly, a deafening boom came from the city walls. Overlapping growls and roars of zombies tore through the atmosphere. Terror erupted instantaneously. People in the crowd screamed, "It's a swarm of zombies! A massive swarm of zombies!" A guard ran over, staggering along the way. "The lightning barrier on the right of the base has been breached. There's a massive gap. Zombies are coming through soon!"

"Or we steal one." Suddenly, a drumbeat echoed through the valley. DOOM. DOOM. DOOM. "We're not alone," Finch whispered. From the tree line surrounding them, figures emerged. They didn't look like the zombies. These were human. Living, breathing humans. They were tall, their skin painted with white clay to look like skulls. They wore armor made of crocodile hide and jaguar bones. They held spears tipped with obsidian and bows drawn taut with poison-tipped arrows.

I remained silent at the front, with my gun raised and ready the whole time. The emergency lights in the research lab flickered on and off, and the air stank of blood and decay. Distant growls of the zombies rumbled through the halls. We were about to reach the exit when a familiar wail cut through the darkness. "Help… Please, help me!" I took a closer look and saw Esmeralda pinned against a wall by three zombies, their teeth sinking into her. Her right arm had been ripped off, blood gushing like a fountain.

Something that could wipe humanity off the map. “The ones who survive… are becoming… something else,” I murmured under my breath, barely able to believe it. “Zombies,” I whispered. The word hung in the air. Rebecca shuddered. “I can’t believe it. It’s happening so fast. What do we do?” “We study it,” I said firmly, more to myself than to her. “I need to get to the bottom of this. We need samples, data, whatever we can get our hands on.”

She really started to wonder what kind of weird experiment this was going to be. Feline scraped her throat, “So I am guessing you are all wondering what this experiment is all about. For you to understand I have to tell you some history first. Thousands of years ago humans were not the only species that lived on earth. There were also werewolves, vampires, fae, and witches. These creatures believed themselves to be superior to the human race and wanted to enslave them. Humans learned of their plans and war broke out. Thanks to science the human race was able to survive while the other species went extinct.” Dante interrupted her, “Sorry but what is this? You want us to know the history of a
