LOGIN-Aurelia -
The figures dressed in black garments which covered them from head to foot came out from behind the trees and bowed before me and then placed both of their hands crossed on their chest. “The Moon blesses the North.” I said, my voice trembled as I remembered the greatness of the North which was now told in tales beginning with once upon a time. Again, I remembered the ruin that had befallen us … but that wouldn't be for long.. that would be atoned with the blood of Alaric Leontius Valerian. I rushed to the figures, pulled them together and hugged them. “I missed you both so much. I do. I really do.” “We do too.” They both responded. We disengaged and they both pulled off their black garment to reveal my two aides, my sisters, the family I am left with. “My Queen!” Azura yelled gleefully and threw her arms around me engulfing me in a tight hug, “Oh! I was so scared when Beta Ilan held your veil.” She disengaged but still held me by my shoulders. “Oh Moon! Ask Sorya, I almost peed on myself!” I chuckled and shook my head at Azura, the beautiful black haired girl, her rounded face and big doe eyes had always had a way of lighting up a room no matter how dull it was. Azura had been my maiden since I was little. She was more like a sister than a maiden and we were always getting ourselves in trouble and would be punished together when we were caught. Beautiful old memories. Sorya who stood beside us huffed, “My Queen, Azura peed, not almost.” My eyes widened in shock, “What!” I sniffed the air and shifted away from her pretending I heard a bad smell. Azura gasped as she tried to take a hold of me but I shifted away, she turned to Sorya, “You liar! I peed after Mistress Donna told us to leave!” She pointed at Sorya who shook her head. “You!” Azura yelled and began chasing Sorya around while I laughed happily watching them. “Oh, tell me something. Children will always be children.” A deep masculine voice said behind me. My eyes widened and I turned and without even waiting for my eyes nor my brain to recognise who was standing some distance away from me, I ran into his arms. “Uncle!” He caught me and twirled me around, “Yes my princess - oh sorry. My Queen.” “Uncle Diomar.” I called as I stayed there in his warm embrace, my eyes blurred with tears as my hands tightened around him. I have missed this man. My uncle, Diomar Draxmere, my father's elder brother, the one who had saved me and nursed me to life. The very man who had trained me, gave me my purpose and stood by me even when I thought of myself as nothing. He had pulled me out of depression after the fall of the North, my family. Four years after I came to the Western Kingdom, Uncle had advised that we stopped seeing saying that my training was complete and I had to stay focus on getting a chance to execute my plan. But his assurance always rang in my head and they have kept me going. I didn't even realise it but I was already crying, bawling my eyes out on his chest. “I am sorry Uncle, I know you have taught me better than to give in to my emotions, than to cry but I am -” His hands patted my back soothingly, “It's fine my dear. I mean, sometimes you should just let it out.” And I did. I let it out. I cried loudly. Uncle Diomar kept patting my back, he kissed my head and whispered, “You are closer than you ever imagined Aurelia.” I nodded and disengaged from him, I wiped my tears and held my head up high, just as he had always taught me. Uncle Diomar smiled, a proud smile… the very smile that had encouraged me and pulled me through times that I felt like nothing. “All hail the Queen.” Uncle Diomar said as he bowed and crossed both hands against his chest, I gave a waist bow. “Aurelia.” He called sternly. From his tone, I could tell my uncle was frowning. I knew what was coming, “The royalty never gives a waist bow to anyone and you are the Queen of the North-” “Royalty or not. Uncle Diomar, you deserve my waist bow.” I would even kneel to him. He was the one that has brought me this far. He placed his hands on my shoulders and raised me up to look at him in the eyes.. His face reminded me so much of my hero, my father. My hero that death snatched away from me and it was because of that monster…. I balled my fists. “Know this, Queens don't bow and you are one.” He leaned in and kissed me on my forehead. He looked beyond my shoulder, a smile on his face. “Lord Draxmere.” Azura bowed. I stepped away from Uncle Diomar and immediately Sorya rushed to him and jumped on him, “Father!” I smiled… Sorya Diomar Draxmere was my cousin, she is Uncle Diomar's only child and he had made sure to train her alongside me, saying that since he couldn't be with me in the Western Kingdom, Sorya would be and she would protect me which she had lived up to. “My darling.” He kissed her on the forehead too, she disengaged and we all walked to where our meeting was to be held. We all sat down, I was in the middle of them all. “Finally, our enemy is closer to his death than ever.” Uncle Diomar's stone cold voice announced. “The deadly poison is ready,” I said with a nod. After I was chosen as the Alpha King's caregiver, I made sure that during my errands to the market I purchased deadly herbs and I had prepared secretly. I smiled. My uncle shook his head, making my smile fade a little. “No, Aurelia. No poison.” Uncle Diomar said as his lips curved slightly. “That's the only way to end him, Uncle.” “Hmmm..” My uncle hummed and stayed silent for a while before he spoke. “Rid him of his senses.” his smile going wild. My brows pulled together as I stared at my uncle, I opened my mouth to ask what he meant but he spoke up before I could. “Love.” He smirked, “Make him fall senselessly in love with you.”-Aurelia -The figures dressed in black garments which covered them from head to foot came out from behind the trees and bowed before me and then placed both of their hands crossed on their chest.“The Moon blesses the North.” I said, my voice trembled as I remembered the greatness of the North which was now told in tales beginning with once upon a time.Again, I remembered the ruin that had befallen us … but that wouldn't be for long.. that would be atoned with the blood of Alaric Leontius Valerian.I rushed to the figures, pulled them together and hugged them.“I missed you both so much. - Aurelia -The healer frowned in confusion as he looked from me to the Beta.“Her eyes give off this unsettling excitement. Change her to someone else.”I quickly bowed my head… my heart pounded in my chest. How the hell did this man know I was smiling? How could he tell I was excited?Damn! How could I forget so quickly all I have heard about Beta Ilan Yonimas.Stories said he is a very sensitive and cautious man. Nothing, they say, catches him off guard.Stories also have it that he could literally smell out one's thoughts, his eyes could pierce even the hardest soul and get what they are thinking out of them.Well, I had shaken it off, thinking it must have been exaggerated but I am not so sure anymore… because it seems they weren't.“I don't feel comfortable with her.” Beta Ilan said again as he raised his hand and moved it to the corner of my vision, I took in a shaky breath, my hands trembling.“Why are you on a veil?” He asked. He was about to take a hold of my veil when I qui
- Aurelia -“Praise the moon goddess. His majesty is out of danger and on his way to recovery.” Elder Sage announced as he pressed the wet cloth he had earlier given the Beta against the Alpha King’s sword wound. The maids sighed heavily, releasing deep breaths that they had been holding… I resisted the urge to roll my eyes in disgust. The only time I held my breath was when the sword was about to be pulled out, hoping it did go wrong but it didn't.He had escaped from a bloodbath but his recovery? Not on my watch.I watched as Beta Ilan bowed his head, his fingers formed a fists which he placed on his chest … he was paying homage to the Healer.Elder Sage smiled and did the same, “The moon goddess will continue to protect our Alpha King.”I smirked. No, she won't. She has given him into my hands and his death is near.“My Lord, you also need treatment.” Elder Sage said to the Beta, who looked terrible too, he was in a bad shape yet he didn't remember himself but wanted the monster t
- Aurelia -“Your ugliness must be so disturbing that you wear a veil.”Sonia's words cut through my thoughts, fastening me out of memories I wished never happened but they already did.I swallowed hard and still from my kneeling position, lifted my head to stare at Sonia, she was standing before me, her hands folded, her lips in a smile. Her gaze connected with mine and her steps faltered back as I stared straight at her with my anger and frustration, if it were other times I would avert my gaze but I didn't…. Sonia gulped, fear filled her features.I could feel a growl coming… Wait?! No! Not here! My wolf was surfacing.Quickly I averted my gaze, I stared down at my hands, they were already turning to paws, my claws already sticking out.Down! I scolded inwardly.Damn! These suppressant pills seem to be losing their potency…. I need to get another.“Get up! And get to work!” Sonia yelled at me but before I got up, she hurried away.I took a deep breath and grabbed the broom and par
- Aurelia -I stared angrily at the unstable heap of dirty dishes piled in the sink.I was supposed to wash them, that has always been my duty but my feet wouldn’t move. My body refused to obey anymore. But I had to.Forcing myself forward, I took a step—Crash! The stack of plates came crashing to the floor, shattering into pieces. My eyes widened in horror as I stared at the fragments, I looked up and my eyes were met with Sonia’s glare, Sonia the kitchen bully as she was called behind her back.I opened my mouth to speak, but two hard slaps landed across my face before my words could leave my lips.My cheeks stinged in pain, my veil could never reduce the effect of such a slap.“You stupid Omega!” Sona yelled into my face.“What is going on here?” Our head mistress, Madam Donna asked sharply. She stood at the doorway, a deep frown was etched on her face as her gaze settled on the shattered dishes scattered across the floor.“I didn’t—”“Aurelia pushed them down because she didn’t w
