14. Playground

I rushed toward Nana who now laid still on the cold dirty playground. My heart beat faster than I thought it could ever beat. I was scared. I was panicking really badly. My Nana should be okay. I know she is okay. She has to be okay!

I grabbed her shoulders and wrapped my arms around her.

“Nana! Nana! Are you alright? Nana!” I yelled, tears brimming on my eyes.

Did she fall sick again? She must’ve not come here! I should’ve told Jen to look after her. How could I be so silly and selfish?

Kevin hurried and carried Nana back home. I really hope her condition’s not serious. I crossed my fingers and lay by her side when the rest of the family barged in. Kevin must’ve called them, because I definitely didn’t. I was so scared that I forgot to call them.
