(Marcus's POV)

"Mr. Moore, please bring the divorce papers over to my house right away," I ordered my lawyer.

Mr. Moore pleaded pitifully, "On whose name should the divorce papers be?"

I continued to look down into the brown eyes of the girl in the image as I said, "Serena Walton and Marcus Walton," and then I cut the call.

My Siri was kissing my adversary in business while his hands were around her neck.

The floor was covered in more pictures. Others show grinning and hugging while others show kissing. My Siri is shown in one image with an unidentified man in the bed while they are both naked, which makes my blood boil in wrath.

How could she? I gave all she needed, didn't I?

My disdain increased as I said that. I was disgusted with my wife. Was I not enough for her?

My train of thought was interrupted when a knock on our bedroom door resounded.

I barked, "What?"

One of my maids whispered in a sorrowful voice, "Sir, Mr. Moore is here."

I gathered myself, and said, "Tell him I will meet him in the study," and I went to the study.

I questioned him in a clipped tone, "Are the papers ready?" as I entered the study with a dismal atmosphere.

Since he knew I wasn't in the mood to discuss, the lawyer simply nodded.

Soon, I could hear the faint murmur of approaching small feet, and I immediately recognized Serena.

My clumsy little...

No, Marcus, perhaps she was never yours in the first place. To her, everything here was a game.

She didn't knock when she entered the space.

She began, gazing down, with a mournful tone, "Honey."

I was angry with whoever had caused her to be upset and wanted to cheer her up. However, I can't as I simultaneously recall the pictures.

My mood altered abruptly.

I responded, internally cringing at my tone, "Sign these divorce papers and take whatever you want and get out of my estate."

She raised an eyebrow and said in shock, "What?"

I growled, "I don't like repeating myself, Serena, I think you heard me loud and clear."

She questioned in a shaky voice, "But why? W-What have I done wrong?"

I stood up from my chair and walked over to her. Firmly grasping her arm. Maybe a bit too tightly. Before today, I have never even thought of hurting her. But again today was no ordinary day.

"Stop with your acting, that won't work on me anymore, you whore."

"Whore? I never cheated on you, Marcus," she stated and a part of me wanted to believe her.

"I don't care. Just. Sign. These. Papers." I said through gritted teeth.

My attorney handed me the divorce papers with a pen right then. She had no choice but to sign it with shaky hands after I delivered it to her.

"You can take whatever you want as compensation."

"Nothing. I want nothing from you." She stared into my eyes and softly said, "The day when the realization will hit you, you will regret everything but it will be too late."

Then, a few months later I found out that the photos were morphed.

Since then I have been searching for her.

For a year!

I can still clearly remember her entering my office for the first time to complete a personal assistant interview. In every sentence, she used to stutter. However, I can't say that I blame her because I was fully aware of how scary I was to her.

She was ideal, though. She used to laugh and grin, my darling. The ease with which she broke down my defenses. She was incredible.

She was too innocent for this brutal world, so I felt compelled to shield her at any cost. So giving, considerate, and helpful.

My Siri possessed all the traits that I would never possess. She made me whole. She gave me a reason to exist. A goal I had been looking for so long.

I dated her for eight months and then decided to marry her. Soon we got married and after one and a half years of our happily married life, I divorced her for no other reason than my own insecurities and lack of trust.

I should have had faith in her. To me, she was everything.

Why couldn't I put more faith in her?

Why did I not?

I yanked my hair out in despair as I recalling everything.

The day when I divorced her.

The day I made the worst mistake of my life.

The day I made ever cry.

I was brought out of my daze with a knock on my office door.

"Sir, we have found Ms. Serena's whereabouts."

I smiled to myself. I am coming for you mi amore.
