 LEAVING THE PACK 

 The following morning, I woke, and as a lady, I was about to think of what we would eat when Sera awoke.

 "You don't need to get anything," she said. "Our mate will organise something."

 Her words made me smile as I thought of how she easily called Alpha Drupal our mate. I heard different things about how cruel he was, and not only that, I had heard about how he defeated his enemies.

 "He isn't a kind man, so don't call him our mate," I said silently, cautioning Sera.

 "You are awake," I heard someone say and looked up to see one of the men standing beside me.

 "Good morning," I said, and he replied to me.

 Taking a deep breath, I told him that I was going to get us something for us to eat.

 "No need," he said.

 

 He threw a toothbrush and toothpaste to me.

 "Use that room,"

 Understanding the reason he pointed to the room, I nodded.

 Minutes later, I walked out of the room with a smile on my face. The men were awake so I greeted them.

 

 "You are only to greet Alpha Drupal," one of the men said reminding me that I was their Luna.

 "Alright," I said and tried walking to Drupal when he raised a hand. "Drupal!"

 He wore a smirk on his face and told me to call him Alpha Drupal.

 This got me thinking as I thought of how  I was to call him Alpha. I knew that he didn't get me for love or because we were mate as Sera suggested, but how would it look if I call him Alpha Drupal outside.

 "Alright, Alpha Drupal," I said and walked away but before I could get to the door, someone pulled my hand.

 "We would be leaving for Junix Pack," Drupal said. "You would learn our rules."

 I nodded my head, then my stomach grumbled, which meant I was hungry.

 A phone rang and I saw a man answer it.

 Minutes later, he looked at Drupal and bowed his head. He walked out of the door and walked in with some lunch pack.

 "Here it is, Alpha," he said and Drupal nodded.

 Seeing the men sit comfortably made me nervous. Were they going to sacrifice me?

 "No, they won't," Sera said making me smile.

 I was made to sit beside Drupal as we were served.

 As courtesy demands, I waited for them to take a bite from theirs before eating mine.

 Done eating, I was excited to go into the car, but to my surprise, no one got up.

 "What's wrong?" I asked, but one stare from Drupal made me cough. "Aren't we leaving?"

 

 I saw a wicked smile on Drupal's face.

 He called me to sit beside him, and I could feel Sera beaming with joy. This made me smile and I walked to sit beside him.

 "You are a Luna, and should behave like one," he said making me roll my eyes.

 Didn't he just tell me to address him formally? What Luna addresses her mate formally?

 Without allowing him to speak more I nodded.

 "Alright," I said and sat silently without looking at the sides.

 I remained by Drupal's side for an hour without uttering a word until I felt a hand across my neck.

 

 "Get ready," I heard Drupal's voice. "We would be going."

 Some men walked out of the house, and I guess it was to inspect the car while the other men got up to arrange everything they came with. It was only some brush and some mat.

 "We are heading home," one of the men said to another who looked at Drupal.

 "We aren't going yet," Drupal said. "We would go to visit Damien."

 He was planning to give Damien some things. This was the right time for me to begin my mission.

 "Can we not go there?" I asked. "I know that I was offered as a sacrifice, but they want to use you to grow their pack."

 I continued speaking though I wasn't sure if he would listen to me, but to my surprise, he did.

 "That's right, but I made a promise," he said.

 We left in the car, and I sat beside Drupal.

 Getting close to the pack house, we were greeted by a scene which made me smile.

 "Alpha Drupal, we can't go in," one of the men said and he nodded.

 "Alright, let's go to Junix pack," Drupal said making me smile.

 I saw him look at me and immediately changed my expression.

 "Alpha Drupal!" I called like he said I should call him. "Junix pack isn't so terrible."

 He gave a confused expression but didn't say a word as he turned his gaze forward.

 The car continued moving and I thought of Mr. Salvador. I still wasn't sure if he was in support of what his daughter did, but one thing I was sure of was that he cared for me.

 "Stop the car," Drupal said minutes later.

 We got out of the car, and I wondered what happened since we hadn't gotten to Junix Pack, but I dared not say a word. He whispered some words into the ear of a man.

 Seeing the man walk away, I knew that Drupal had given him an order.

 My eyes roamed around the area as I remembered when my godfather, Eleanor's uncle brought me here. Then there was an ice-cream stall, but now it's no more.

 "What are you looking at?" Drupal asked and I cleared my throat with a little smile appearing on my cheek.

 "I just remembered when..." I was saying when he raised his hand.

 "I don't want to know,"

 This took me by surprise, and I looked at the ground. Wasn't he being rude? Didn't he just ask me what I was looking at?"

 

 "Too rude," I mumbled, and rolled my eyes.

 Minutes later, we were in the car as it moved. My eyes were closed as I thought of what my first step would be in Junix Pack that I didn't know when I slept.

 I felt a tap on my shoulder and jumped.

 "We are in Junix Pack," I heard, and looked around.
