Logan’s POV

“Where are you?” I groan into the phone. Seth had called to say things hadn’t gone as planned. That Lana had become aggressive and attacked him.

“The hospital down the street from the hotel.”

“I’m on my way,” hanging up, I quickly put the green contact lenses in. What the hell had she done? I didn’t think she would attack a human. It was why I had sent him.

Lana’s voice had scratched at my head earlier, but I wasn’t letting her in. Contact would be on my terms not hers!

Calling Aunty Kendra, I ask her to come and watch mom. Mom hadn’t been the same since the twins' death. She didn’t speak, she barely ate, everyone was worried.

As soon as Aunty Kendra arrives, I leave, not telling her where I was going, just that I would be back soon. She didn't need to know that her daughter was involved.
