Chapter 17 - rescue

PUMASOK sa guest room si Vhendice kasama si Eddie na nakabuntot sa kanya. Tumuloy ang binata sa glass table at sinilip ang laptop. Kinalikot. May inabot na disk si Eddie at isinaksak niya iyon sa player. Tiningnan ang laman.

"Kumusta sa capital? Still no sign of movement yet?" tanong niya sa kasamang lalaking nakatayo sa kanyang likuran at nanonood.

"Walang pagbabago. Kanina may nahuling spy ng resistance sina Vic pero pinakawalan din agad ng chairman."

"That's the problem. Athrun is really too soft. Hindi ko mahulaan kung anong nasa isip niya. We need drastic measures in order to restrain these people. Those crazy fools, hintayin nilang magbanggaan kami at lalamunin ko silang lahat ng buhay."

"Hangga't walang orders mula sa chairman, hindi kami pwedeng kumilos."

"Never mind. Just continue your surveillance and inform the other groups to stay put. I'll give you further instructions as soon as I'm done gathering the essentials. I'm almost there and once I've had it, I'll take down the
