Chapter Forty Seven

"So what news have you bring me? Tell me it's good." I queried Mona as we had tea over on the dining table. Ever since those mad keepers left the palace with their soldiers, they'd been bad news upon bad news. First, I realized I could now save the septic, though I wondered if I could have always cured them from the start or maybe I only could because of the devil's disappearance. Or maybe even because of the fact that I'd received Lilith's blessings, as of recent, we couldn't even tell whether the devil was permanently banished or dead, or was still somewhere hiding in the corners. But something told me he was till very much alive due to the fact that I still had vivid visions about another war with him. Then, I realized that we were already running low on supplies and the villagers would soon start staving. So many problem were arising in the fickle of time.

"Well, the Northern villagers refused to supply us grains."

"What! We need those grains. R
