Samantha sent Chris on an errand to the mall to collect a package from the post office and also to buy a few groceries for them.

Because Chris will do anything for his mate, he did what she asked of him.

Walking into the mall, his nose caught the scent of mint mixed with fresh water and followed it. He had nothing else to do, and that odd feeling about Samantha was still worrying him.

He ended up following the scent to an adult store and was completely confused. Why would the mint scent come from here?

What made it more curious was that he never entered this store, nor did he have prior knowledge of it while he was still the Alpha.

Thinking about his position that was taken from him, Chris felt bitter. “I can’t believe Corbin actually took it from me,” he mumbled.

Chris tsked, then walked into the store, ignoring him. His wolf was a
