I hope he isn't really a stalker. After an hour staying at the park, I finally decided to go home. Mom's probably awaks by now, it's already 6 o'clock. As I arrived at the house, mom's already preparing food at the table. I walk towards my room and changed my clothes. It's so sweaty. After that, I joined mom to eat breakfast.

Brie asked. "No, I think I can get back home myself, it's just....I wanna relax more before coming back home, I mean there's still time till seven right?" "Do you know what's the time?" "No, probably 8am, I think?" "What? It's 5:30! 5:30pm!" "What?"

He is still smiling. My eyes are about to pop. "At my place ?" "Sure, or somewhere else if that's better". He says. "Uh I guess that's fine. I am home". I mumble. What is happening ? "Great". I lowered the volume quickly, sitting up to listen carefully. Seems quiet. I relaxed back on the sofa, kicking my feet up on the large mahogany coffee table. But just then I heard one light knock on the front door. I quickly glanced at the clock on the TV. 10:22pm. Who the hell just shows up at the pack house this late? My men would just mindlink.

Bad news that Jack Martin is also going to be there but even though it's ok. At least I will see my mate after about a whole week. Aman's POV Today was a very important meeting. I got free from there around 7:40 PM by the time got home it is already 8:10 PM only 20 minutes so I need to get ready for dinner. As soon I got there our butler to jee opened the door, as usual, I spoke " mom I am home" as my habit without realising there are other people there.

Here are my daily routine. From 6 to 9 am, i work for Mrs maria at her home, preparing the kids for school and doing some house chores. From 10am to 1pm, i work at Mason 's restaurant. I just cook and wash the dishes. At 2 to 5pm, I work at Mr grumpy 's gallery shop. At 6, i help mom at her small restaurant down the street. I'm a very busy person. Apart from working so hard, i have a part time classes.

It was only 11:35. “That’s more than enough time! I’m sleeping until then, so no-one bother me,” I sighed, going into the house.

"Remember, I'm here to ensure your safety. Come on, let's go inside." Following his lead, we made our way into the house. Everywhere was quiet; everyone else had gone to sleep. I snuck a glance at my wristwatch, and it told me the time was two am in the morning. So much seemed to have happened to me in the space of a few hours. "Do you need anything?" Aiden asked as we stood in the dimness of the foyer together. I smiled weakly. "No, Aiden. I'm fine." I murmured, even though I felt as though I was breaking apart from the inside.

She wondered, staring at her ceiling in the gradually deepening darkness as night approached, what exactly Billings had known, and whether he'd realized, in the final moments of his life, that he'd gotten too close to something he should never have gone near. She looked at the clock on her phone and did the math without meaning to, the way she'd started doing every night now — five hours left, then four, then three, whittling down toward the one number that had stopped feeling like a time at all and started feeling like an appointment. Whether it would bring another call, or, this time, a silence heavier than anything that voice could say, she wouldn't know until it arrived.

But to my surprise, the house was completely empty. My vision blurred, and I slowed down. It was already 10:00 pm—why weren't they back yet?
