Air Coming Out Of Eye Socket When Blowing Nose Novels & Stories

“A-choo!” The sneeze was violent, echoing off the marble floors. Her eyes immediately began to prickle, the telltale heat of a flare-up blooming across her cheeks. She sniffled, reaching into her bag for a lace handkerchief, her vision blurring behind a thin veil of involuntary tears.

“Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah…” Accompanied by Adalind’s painful moan, a trace of bright-red blood and transparent liquid spurted out of her eye socket. At this moment, Adalind’s eye socket was bulging so much that it almost fell out of her eye socket. It was even scarier than the scariest horror movie. “Ah… Ah, ah…” Adalind quickly realized that the eye socket was so small. Although it could accommodate her three fingers, after grabbing the eye socket, it was impossible for her to retract her hand.

She scratched her body with her closed eyes, hit her hand on the side table, and took out two to three tissue papers from the tissue box. She started cleaning her running nose, which by now was making her feel wet and damp. Unwillingly, she sat up on her bed facing the wall. Her head hung low, and her hair fell in her face as it usually did. She tried to open her eyes with great difficulty. Her eyes were still watery and puffy, due to which she felt exhausted and struggled to keep them open.

I chopped my nose quickly with the back of my hand and switched on the faucet, letting water splash loudly into the sink. "Yea?" I yelled out, trying to put calm into my voice. "You all right?" he inquired. "Sure," I said to him, trying to sound as normal as possible. "Just waiting for a minute. Hot water's taking forever." "Okay," he replied, not entirely trusting me but courteous. I settled in closer toward the mirror and studied my own eyes. The whites of my eyes had a very slight bloodshot appearance. There was a calming throb behind my temples now, the beat of a warning drum.

I cry silently against my bedroom door for awhile and then make my way to my bathroom. I look in the mirror and take in my appearance. My long brown hair is disheveled and my blue eyes are red and swollen. I glance down and notice my nose is still dripping blood and starting to swell a little bit and my cheek is a dark shade of pink. I've treated myself plenty of times so this is nothing new. I was actually lucky this time it was just a nose bleed.

I continued to squeeze. Its right eye – the one where an eye should be – ballooned outwards to almost twice the size of its counterpart. I could see the blood vessels engorging on the white of its eyeball, tiny splits appearing across the surface which began to seep blood, a violent burst of bloodied tears pouring down its face.

I took a deep breath and exhaled after a moment. I gulped and grabbed a tissue out of the tissue box lying on the coffee table. I blew my running nose. When I withdrew the tissue away from my nose, I found it red. Blood! I teared up all over again as I felt my heartbeats increasing at an unbelievable speed. Why is there blood in my snot? I jumped in fright when a stabbing sound echoed in the silent house. I was shaking in fear as I stumbled towards the kitchen holding my bleeding nose with the tissue to try and stop more blood from coming out but it was in vain.

She doesn't say a word, instead she just crying in silence. Her eyes wouldn't just stop watering, she practical almost finishes my box of tissue. " I will get off here?" She informs a few blocks away from her house " Are you sure?" I question, bringing the car to a halt " Yes I need some air. Maybe this way I would be able to get some sleep when I get home" She informs before blowing out the snuff from her nostrils. Her electric blue eyes look horrible swollen, especially the left one which had a clot before now.

“Are you okay, babe? I don’t answer at first. Instead, I flex my jaw and rub my ears for any sign of damage. Thankfully, the fact that I can hear him means that my eardrums are still intact, but my ears still feel like they’re on fire. He takes my face in the palm of his hands and inspects me. “Your nose is bleeding.” He says as he rubs at my nose with the sleeve of his sweater.

The horrendous image blinking back at me under dim, buzzing bathroom lighting in a cracked mirror is sobering. I look awful, my eyes are starting to circle with the tell-tale blue darkness and the bridge of my nose is swollen and bruised already. My skin pale and blotchy from tears and traces of being unwell and my eyes look red and veiny. The blood cleans away to reveal an ashen face and a swollen top lip. I’m guessing he got me right in the centre of the face and I might be lucky with just a cracked or bashed nose rather than a broken one. It feels extremely tender and makes me nauseous when I touch it.
