Cameras loved it. Sponsors poured money into it. Parents bragged about it. Privately, it was something else entirely. Alpha Academy. An institution built to break wolves and rebuild them stronger. I wake up screaming my lungs out. Ang walks in glaring at me. “Are you going to scream every night and wake up the Alpha every time? You’re really making me look bad here Akira.” He looks down at the book on my lap as catch my breath. “The Moon Goddess? You read about the Moon Goddess and you’re screaming your head off still? You seriously have some prob-“, “Don’t you dare finish that sentence Ang,” I cut him off before he could go on and trigger my anger more. “Ang?” He questions. “Yeah stands for Asshole Night Guard,” I say as I make my way over to the sink to grab my water and chug it down.

He announced while looking at her over his shoulder and saw her getting calm down slowly. "We are trusting you, Alpha Dominic." The oldest one spoke up before looking at the witch with a serious look. "Take the magic down." He ordered and she gave him a blank nod. "For sure." She mumbled before bringing something from her stash. It was a glass piece with a small drop of dried blood on it. It was Ace's blood and everyone knew that. She closed her eyes and started to chant something in a low tone. Everyone waited for something to happen and soon Ace cried out loud, taking everyone's attention toward him.

Kate POV “I Challenge Katelyn Adams for the Alpha title of the Golden Moon Pack!”. I couldn’t believe what I had heard. It was resonating through my mind, without fully comprehending. Looking into the crowd I wait for the voice to come forward. It’s familiar but with the crowd who jumped up loudly the voice was lost in the crowd.

What a weird name? Should I accept it or not? What if it’s a scam? Or a trap from my enemies? But do I have a choice? Luna placed the tuna sandwich in front of me before they started pigging out with the pasta and chips. “Oh,” Luna cried, making us all look at her. “Roux, this is Akira. I know you don’t like people but Aki is part of our circle so we decided to bring him here. Aki, this is Roux.” My gaze fell on Akira. I assumed that Akira is a girl. He’s still watching me with those pair of piercing eyes like he’s trying to decode me. He put down his coke and offer me his hand which I just stared at. Luna and Lucas exchanged awkward glances. Finally, Lucas shook his hand for me. Akira didn’t say anything.

I knew breaking away from Blade would shatter me completely, but this was already happening, so it shouldn't be harder. I wanted to be loved as me. Not as a replacement. Not because a certain bond made him do it. “No!” Blade roared as his hands clamped on my shoulders, painfully grabbing me. “Stop!” “Light witch of…” Tears trickled down my face as I stopped to gasp for air. My eyes were too blurry, so I could only see his silhouette. “I, Alpha Balderus Acosta, accept you…” Blade roared, deafening me, but my body was already releasing too much energy that I couldn’t control.

I was as good as a rogue back then. After a few minutes, a large wolf with silky brown fur and a black undercoat approached the border. It is Aleck. He shifted into human form and stood in all his naked glory with a smirk on his face. We were in a standoff-ish staring contest for a few seconds. “Brother.” I broke the silence. “You’re back?” he asked, and I shrugged. He spread his arms, and I approached him for a hug. I pulled out of the hug. “Can you wear something?”

But now he reached as far out of Akiko's reach as possible, trying to avoid the black poison. But it was to no avail. Akiko grabbed onto Alex…and dug her nails into his neck…transferring the tar like substance into him. "NOOO!" Forgetting about Alistair and the pain shooting down my spine, I ran for Alex, holding one of my orbs of light in my hand. Alistair tried to grab me, but I slipped under his arms, and ran straight for Alex. Akiko moved away from me, her face expressionless as usual. She was Alistair's puppet anyways, so she didn't care what happened to anyone else…all she cared about was fulfilling her master's orders.

The plea for aid, tinged with vulnerability, reaches his ears, drawing his attention like a magnet pulling at his heartstrings. Pausing in his ascent, Alpha Kaden turns to face the source of the voice, his expression softening as his gaze falls upon Alexa, a young pack member in need of assistance.
