And The Darkness Comprehended It Not Novels & Stories

I couldn’t comprehend the amount of information I had that day. I could see the entrance getting closer, as a shadow stepped out from the doors as my vision blurred, and I fell. I had nothing left in me; the darkness cascaded down around me as I was dragged into the abyss.

There is no transition, from dark to light and shadow. My eyes open. But still, the ocean has taken a part of me. Eyes open. But I do not see.
