he promises as he paces backwards trying to get away from me. I run towards him swiping my big claws out at him slicing his leg. It was all I could reach but I hear a roar from his black wolf as he shifts back and races towards me. Ashley is excited to be in the fight. She has wanted to take this bastard out and now will get the chance or she will die trying.

"I’ll contact you again with the details. And Fabian—don’t mess this up. We have a lot of plans ahead of us, so we can't blow this." “Sure, bye,” he said and hung up the call. As soon as the line disconnected, I could feel my wolf itching to break something. I clenched my fists, my nails digging into my palms. The clock was ticking, and I couldn’t afford any more setbacks. Ashley thought she was clever, but she had no idea what I was capable of. By the time she realized what was happening, it would be too late. This kingdom was still mine. --- **ASHLEY'S POV**

Just when Asher was about to grab Lana, Sahan lunged forward and threw a punch in his face. Alpha Asher was thrown back and bumped into the table which was right behind him. The impact was huge due to Sahan’s supernatural strength. He was already barely holding back and containing himself to not fully transform.

Fates Intertwined Nicholas’s POV Ashley hadn’t had a vision since the day her favorite pet died. Everyone assumed her gift had been buried under the trauma. But it had never been gone. Only sleeping. She pressed trembling fingers to her temple. “There was fire. Smoke. The ground was cracking beneath her feet. And behind her—something. A shadow in the shape of a woman, but wrong. Not real. Like a memory with claws.” She choked on a breath. “And then I heard Azaria scream. Not loud—but raw. Like it was the last thing she’d ever say. It tore through me like it was my own voice.”

Ash only dug his talons deeper. It seemed like Ash's dark magic was never ending. There was so much inside the crystal already that it had spread past the center. It also wasn't giving any indication that it would be done soon. Ash pulled his talons out of Charles quickly, causing Charles to yelp in pain. Ash then stabbed him in the side again and Charles couldn't hold out much after that. I stepped back again as Ash went to slash me.

"This is the day where the land of Ashcroft were officially recognized by the world as a country and as a nation who can stand on its own. This is also the day where we're married, which means that today is our 4th anniversary but at the same time is also my husband's 4th death anniversary, it hurts and I'm suppose to be at his grave by now with my Prince, however, as the Empress of this country it is also my duty to announce and show to all of you myself. But now, I want to make this day more special not just because this is the anniversary of the nation or our anniversary with my late husband nor his death anniversary, but as your Empress, I want to give you all the freedom just as how I w

Only then would I join Asena, knowing I had avenged her. I didn't wait for Acyn's attack. I charged at him, drawing four deep marks across his chest. He cried out and leaned forward. A dark smirk pulled at my lips as I drew my claws through his disgusting face, piercing one eye. A wild shriek ripped through his throat as he jumped back.

He didn’t stop there so he tried to stab his chest but Ash slipped away rolling on the ground until he was away from him then he got up on his feet. “It is nice to know that someone as good as you is fighting for her, I had expected a weak mate but this is a bummer” he commented. Ash stroke at him jumping in the air to do a backflip and he sliced a part of his cheek before his feet could land on the ground. Once Ash fell to the ground he felt a sharp pain in his leg and realized he had been cut too, blood oozed out of it but he didn’t mind, he would heal anyways.

I was left kneeling in the dirt, my hands covered in his ash. Something moved behind me and I turned. The shadowy figure stood directly in front of me now. It was close enough that I should be able to see its face but there was nothing there, only darkness. It leaned towards me, and in a voice that sounded disturbingly like my own, it whispered; "you should have known better, Asher." Then the ground split beneath my knees. A deep, guttural roar erupted from the earth, and the entire forest began collapsing around me. Trees twisted violently, the red moon shattered into a thousand burning fragments and the mist rose in thick, choking waves, wrapping itself around my arms and throat.
