What kind of books do you like?" I ask and watch with fascination as an adorable blush creeps up her face. "Um... mostly small town romance. Single dad, friends to lovers, next door neighbors, things like that." she says a little shyly making me chuckle.

’ Clara asked. The Colfers looked at each other and shrugged, ‘Mostly, I think,’ John, his dad answered. 'Some of them are first editions, so the books are just there for decoration,’ he said, smiling. ‘So, Clara, my dear, Sebastian said you wanted to talk to us. What is this about?’ his mom pried. ‘Sam, let the girl sit and relax before you interrogate her,’ John scolded his wife.

Author’s POV: Next day all was going good, classes were going on inspector Isaac and John and others were working in their police station. All of a sudden, the electric lights began trembling. The occurrence kept happening for ten to fifteen seconds and then it was ok. Some people got frightened and all got curious. “This happened after eleven years, the same as before”, Isaac told in presence of John and another officer. They looked at each other. Students of a class started whispering. Seeing that the lecturer ordered to stop and again began to give his lecture. Lusie looked her left-right and it was ok few persons there steered each other.

Since then, Metamorphoses wrote more mystery novels and became popular with that specific genre. But the thing is, no one ever met or even actually see the author in person. Even the publishing company that publishing his/her book doesn't see him/her in person nor doesn't know the real gender of the author. But that only makes the author more mysterious and everyone is curious to know him/her. And Anastasia was not an exemption. She's been eager to know the writer since the day that she read the book that later on became her favorite 'The Book of Murder'. For her, every book that the author is writing is a masterpiece.

I smiled and brought out a new novel I got from the store the other day and opened the first chapter to read. There are like ten minutes before assembly starts so I can read at least a chapter or two before it starts. ‘Hmm… interesting’ i thought to myself. “Why didn't I know about this book already?” I muttered under my breath and turned to the next page. “Very interesting.” “I know it is,” I turned my head to see Chris put his bag on the desk beside me and sat down on the chair. “Even though I haven't read it, I know it is interesting”

It has never been my goal to impress my sister with anything I do. I scroll through the books in the library until I come to my favourite section, Mystery. I always love the thrill that comes with not knowing what's going to happen next. You can make it more interesting for yourself if you start to wonder what is happening and what will happen. I take a few glances through the books on the shelves and take a book that looks the most interesting out of all the books I saw. 'In the Woods' by Tana French.
