We got some relief when Azalea stirred, momentarily turning Ugar’s attention to her. She looked lost for some seconds, before spotting us. She frowned our way, before looking up at my father’s dragon. I don’t know much about dragon emotions, but I could definitely see the worry on Ugar’s face. Azalea stood up just as Ugar bent down to her, and she reached out to touch his head. “I’m ok. We’re both ok.” I only noticed then that she had the drone strapped onto her. Ugar looked around them before looking back down at her. When she nodded, he looked back up and started flapping his wings a little.

Athena The entire office became silent after Aurora’s ultimatum. I stood there holding my cleaning supplies tightly, waiting to see how Azrael would respond. Aurora looked confident, almost certain that he would choose her immediately. After all, she was his mate. Slowly, Azrael stood up from his seat, his expression was calm, but there was something cold in his eyes as he walked toward Aurora. She immediately relaxed slightly, probably expecting him to comfort her or agree with her demands.

He scanned the whole room. "Aurora Lynne Lopez?" he asked, making my heart raced. I quickly raised my hand. "Sir." He, then, turned to me. "Oh, there you are, Rora." He flashed me a smile, making my knees weakened. If I'm standing right now, I'll probably stumble and fall off the ground. How can his smile be so deadly? I also smiled back, making my classmates groaned. I know they think I did it again. I just ignored them and focused on our instructor instead.

Hearing Azalias's arrogant challenge Ausar's blood started to boil, he stepped forward again, looked at Azalias's eyes, and said furiously, "Yes. We dare. Do you dare to stop us, the eladrin royal guards?" "Ehh!!" Azalias were stunned by this retaliation, and black lines appeared on his forehead. A crown of ice and diamond sat on her head, identical to the one Atlas’s mother wore. She intertwined her arm with Atlas’s and smiled out towards the crowd. My snarl tore through my throat, making it ache and sting. The sound was lost within that god-awful cheering. Nearly three seconds later, something happened. Aralia’s skin began to glow, this light-blue shade that had me averting my eyes. It radiated from beneath her skin. I could smell fresh snow and clean lakes, salty oceans and rain water. The cool breeze that drifted across the ocean at night ruffled my clothes, and I could taste the tangy mist of ocean spray on my tongue.
