My smile widened as I mindlessly took off my jacket setting it down on the leather seat. I clung to Dalton chatting with him as Enzo thought it was the time for the like of the day as he called it. It was one of those stupid habits that we had going on as kids and it kinda stuck with us and Enzo was the one with the shittiest and corniest jokes. I braced myself to hear one of his dad jokes, Dalton was holding in his laugh at the eager look on his brother's face already. "What do you call a joke without a punchline?"

The employee was on edge, but Seth cut him off with a sharp tone before he could finish. "What are you talking about? Over a hundred cancellations?" He stepped forward and grabbed the employee by the collar. "Is there some mistake? These customers paid deposits. Why would they all cancel at once?" Lily pushed her way in, fixing a hard gaze on the employee. "There's got to be a mistake. Check it again! "Is this some kind of sick joke? Someone pretending to be a customer just to mess with us?"

However, the basketball player would be ridiculed for his part in the scandalous image. "Yo, I think I know this dude", one player says. "Of course you know Jack Thompson, he's one of the star players on the mens' basketball team", another football player says in a "duh" tone. "No, dingus, I mean the guy without his face in the shot", the former player rolls her eyes, "His name is like Jay or something", she holds her chin in deep thought. "Yea, I can't remember", she shrugs.

I couldn't even afford to get one, then they're just in court? "Do you play basketball?" he asked, his eyes smiling. "I did, back in highschool. But I'm not that good. Why?" His grin widened at me. "Because we'll play a game, the one who loses will have to strip until naked."

Day 13 "Hey! Pass the ball to me!" Dylan yelled as he raised his hands above, trying to get the ball from MJ. They all finished riding the bike 30 minutes ago and now MJ and Dylan decided to join a group of people playing basketball. MJ raises his hands and passes Dylan the ball, to which the older guy responds with a run to their hoop. He jumps and dunks the ball, which his team celebrates with a cheer as they approach Dylan and lift him.

She was pretending to be looking for their friend when, in reality, she was just trying to change the topic. Bambi laughed while pointing a finger at Jada and warning her, “Don’t you dare call him that or he might kill you first, even before Kobe could.” “I still don’t understand where he got that much stupidity!” Jada complained, trying her best to control her laughter. Honey chimed in, “True, I don’t know who he took after,” then she glanced at Bambi. When their friend realized that they were teasing him, he scrunched his nose, “Byotches! Don’t me! I’m in no way as stupid as that toasted bread!” he snapped.

I told him through the mind link and his eyes brightened. "I thought you never liked basketball."He told me and I groaned at his words. He was trying to tease me around. Why does he always bring jokes in something that is supposed to be serious?Patricia and my Dad asked us to support one another. "I came here to support our campus's basketball team.This game means a lot to our campus. Isn't that what families do?"I teased him and it was now his turn to groan and I chuckled. I realised the best way to deal with Nico is to use his own words against him. Nicholas diverted his attention from me and concentrated to the basketball team since he's their captain.

I know that he'll never be bother while playing basketball. "Except on that! You know me, huh? You know that I don't want to be bothered while playing basketball." He chuckled and I laugh at him. I knew it! This jerk! He'll betray me because of the damn basketball game! Unbelievable!

"What did the grape say when the elephant stepped on it? Nothing, it just let out a little wine." "Please stop," Ashlyn laughed, covering her face with her hands. "Your jokes are getting worse." "My jokes are berry good, thank you very much." He grinned, clearly proud of himself. "Get it? Berry?" "I'm filing for divorce." "No, you're not. You love my dad jokes." "I tolerate them at best." Richard leaned forward, still holding the strawberry. "What do you call a fake noodle?" "Don't—" "An impasta!" Despite herself, Ashlyn burst out laughing. "That's it. I'm leaving."

She had just failed when Josh shouted at her. “Why don’t you try bouncing the ball with your chest? That might work faster,” Josh shouted, and the entire line of boys, namely the footballers, started laughing at the joke, including Josh himself. Sophia let out an embarrassed gasp, dropped the ball shamefully, and left the field.
