"Ten. We are ten packs strong. All the people saved from the rapists and evil doers are on our side and ready to fight to keep us all safe." This time he can't hide his snarl, but he quickly changes it to a smile. "That's talent for ya. Bringing ten packs together to create one is a big undertaking. You really did it though. I sure hope your Beta is just as proud of your progress as everyone else is." He looks around, sighing. "Where is your Beta?" I sit down at the table, directing Sophia's mom to sit next to me in the Beta position. "Well, right her, of course."

Making my way back to the pack house with Sergeant Cole by my side, Maya and Alex were already waiting for us. Maya, my beta, is not just a trusted ally but also a fierce warrior whose bravery I've witnessed countless times in battles against rival werewolf clans. I remember the day I had to promote Maya to beta after my brother's death. She was grieving as much as I was, but she stepped up and proved herself to be a strong and capable leader. Her loyalty and bravery never wavered, and I knew I could always count on her to have my back in battle.

Ash pulls back and looks at me. "Braze, of course, we just thought it was something really personal and that we shouldn't butt in. Braze you're one of us. Me, you, Sammy and Clare we're a group. I look up and see Braze smiling and Alexander rolling his eyes but still with an amused smile on his lips. I, on the other hand, can't believe what Ash is saying. After how I've treated them they see me as one of them. I've never really been a part of a squad I just had..one person really. This school really is accepting and I'm actually really touched. "What? You are going to confess to Alpha? Oh my God!" Sara's cheerful voice came out of the phone. Sophia grinned upon realizing how content her friend was. "Y-Yeah." Sophia said this while tapping on the keyboard. She gave Bryan his coffee a long time ago. She also made sure that Beta Robert had a cup of coffee. He was the beta of the pack. How could she disrespect him like that? She was now discussing her plan with Sara while seated in the chair behind the desk.

It has been decided that we should go in prepared for battle. The squad leaders would be the two Alphas and the two Alpha Heirs and that no one’s Luna or family member would be in their squad. For example Alpha Isha was my squad leader and Maisey, Gideon, Gamma Xavier and 30 warriors made up our squad. Luna Fran’s squad included Emily of course and since they were not at home in their own pack Luna Hop was assigned Delta Gilmore as her personal guard and Mia had Delta Female Gilmore as hers.

Caleb smiles as we continue walking down the cobblestone path, eating, and talking, “So, usually my Beta helps me with this but since it was a special occasion for his family last night, I thought I would give him the day off.” I smile, “That’s nice of you. Nick came to meet me and asked me to meet his pack because he said we are going to stay there for a few days after our marriage so I went to meet the members of his pack. His pack's name is Blue Stone Pack. It is a little away from the city side and the place is green and beautiful. I met his Alpha first. His name is Atlas Myles Rozell and he was so curt and emotionless that I shivered as soon as he looked back into my eyes. His eyes were emotionless. But surprisingly he turned out to be Nick's childhood friend along with Scott— his beta friend and Thomas, his second Beta friend. Wow, I thought Nick had no friends but he proved me wrong.

He shrugs, "Looks like someone doesn't want this union to happen more than you." I mind link Steve and get no reply, "Steve's not answering me, you think he's out of the territory?" Chris shrugs, "knowing Steve, if he has a guys scent, he won't let up till he catches him, so it's possible, I swear the guy is more bloodhound than wolf." I chuckle, "true, let's get back, clean up and see if anything else is destroyed, or just my future." After I shower and put on clean sweatpants, I return to my office to find my Beta sitting there, I sit and the packhouse landline phone rings, I pick it up, "Crescent Moon, Alpha Braddock speaking."
