Clarissa seemed to have had enough to argue with Billy. “Okay, let’s eat,” said Billy. The man immediately opened the box containing pizza and spaghetti. The worms in his stomach were so busy asking for food. Understandably, since this afternoon he has not had time to fill his stomach with anything. “Wow, this is so good,” Billy muttered. He inhaled the air the food made in the air. The smell of the spaghetti bolognese made his stomach growl.

He was out of his depths here. Thomas and William both are close enough to touch the men. Thomas suddenly moved with unbelievable speed grabbing Billy and moved amongst the graves. Before he even could utter a word, he found himself beyond the gates looking inside. He barely noticed Andy running down the street. Billy had lost his balance and landed on the wet ground. He tried looking around but sees nothing. He can still sense something moving around him but his eyes can’t seem to catch whoever. “Why are you back Billy?” William talked behind him. He watches his son scrambling to get onto his feet.

The smell of paper and ink hit my nostrils first thing I opened the door. “Howdy, neighbor”, the knock off Clark Kent stretched his hand towards and I eyed it abating the fact he had started a conversation with howdy. The boy in his hand held onto his balloon gazing at me like one of those stupid clowns in haunted houses. I didn’t say shit and he retreated his hand with a not so ashamed grin. “Heard from the other folks that you guys moved in. I’m William Duncan by the way folks around here call me Billy” If he said folks one more time, I’d plunge a bullet in him and end the dreadful conversation.

I tried to sound as calm as possible even though it was hard due to my nerves acting up. “Hmm,” He mumbled under his breath. “I guess so.” He shrugged and then returned back to walking down the path we were on. “I’m Billy, by the way. I live not too far from here. I normally hunt deer and other wild animals in this forest by this time. That was how I was able to run into you,” He scoffed the words out gently. “Nice to meet you, Billy.” My voice came out calm and collected. “There it is!” He pointed at a cabin, and from a short distance behind it, I could see that there was a road with cars driving at a decent amount of speed.

When the call ended Billy turned to me, and the look he gave me made me know that he wasn’t going to let me be till I told him what was going on. “You have to tell me what’s going on. I have to know because I am a brother. Who knows maybe we can be of help,” Billy said with a concerned look on his face. “Uhm…” I said and looked at Lilian and Billy followed my line of vision only to see that I was looking at Lilian. “Don’t worry Lilian is the Elder of our pack and she is also our head doctor,” Billy said. I wondered how an Elder could be a doctor too, but either way, it was nice.
