Chapter 3 >On the street< As I walk to my car, I sense something dart past me. I wheeled about to see what it was, but only a burst of air meets my gaze. And then I see it, standing within the shadows of the building. A giant grey wolf with red eyes. My eyes aren´t fooling me. This isn´t a hallucination. The wolf turns around and shoots me a backward glance, before disappearing towards the back of the hospital building.

Their desperation escalated into a frenzy. "Hahaha! Come on! Drink my blood!" Chase laughed wildly, standing there as if he had forgotten that he was supposed to be the hunter. He remained motionless, allowing the beasts to sink their fangs into his flesh, tearing at him in a savage frenzy. Yet, his expression never changed. Thirty minutes later, a colossal Ghost Boar King emerged, stepping into the clearing. Seeing the scene before it, the beast let out an enraged bellow, its giant eyes fixed on Chase with murderous intent.

I grabbed the hem of Felix's shirt, fixed a pitiful expression on my face, and mumbled, "I believe you, Felix." Felix's expression softened as he helped me back to my feet.
