A small, amused smile spread across my lips as I walked toward her, my steps slow and deliberate. “Let me tell you something about this boyfriend of yours,” I murmured, my tone sharp. “He’s nothing more than a dickhead. You’re here today, he’ll bring another girl tomorrow, so don’t be proud of yourself, you’re just here for today,” I added, my gaze locking onto hers as anger flickered across her face. “I thought you left,” my brother’s voice echoed as he stepped into the kitchen, his presence immediately shifting the tension in the room. He wore nothing but a pair of long black trousers, his dark eyes fixed on me, his hair falling slightly across his face.
