"Good. Stay connected to Sarah. If this goes sideways, we need extraction." She nods, but the worry doesn't reach her eyes. She is past worrying. We keep moving, pushing deeper into the tunnel. Then I hear it. A high-pitched whine, right at the edge of hearing. Ultrasonic. "Stop," I say, grabbing her arm. Isla freezes. I scan ahead. Thermal shows nothing, but the sound is directional, coming from the ceiling tiles ahead. A sonic deterrent. Non-lethal, but designed to drop a man to his knees with vertigo. If we cross that threshold, it’ll hit with the force of a physical blow—nausea, disorientation, total loss of balance.

Accompanied with the small mouth that was opened. This little Bubbles right now was too cute to the public eyes. But Kate was not really in the mood to appreciate cute things right now. Little Bubbles also did not appreciate what was happening right now as he asked his Host in a high pitched tone. “What are you doing Host?!” Little bubbles asked at the top of his lungs. Activating its powers again, the halberd set loose a sudden surge of purplish-gold brilliance and the destructive beam shot at the Human King of the Chamber. Bong! Bong! The Human King took out a little drum and pounded hard on its face. The little drum shone like a diamond as it rumbled, and the air quivered. Boom! That shattered the purplish-gold beam fired by Chu Xun's halberd and the sonic waves came crashing like tidal waves. Sonic wave attacks?! It was the sort of attack that Chu Xun would always find cumbersome for it deals damage directly to one's soul. The sonic waves came like an unstoppable tide, falling down trees and tearing them into chips and flakes with terrifying efficacy.

Sabrina asks, amused. " Yeah. Bubbles likes to eat candies, his favorite food is meatballs and he doesn't like when someone touches him. No-no, Bubbles doesn't like being touched. Bubbles likes to play with sand," she says, smiling up at Sabrina. Jared and Mason(Enrique's dad) walk into the room, talking to each other at the same moment. I didn't see anything, but I heard a buzzing sound like the flapping of small wings in my ears. When I turned to the side I almost jumped in surprise. A small Bubble flew near me. She looked so pale and thinner than the Bubble I met in Blue Moon. I even could see her slightly torn wings. However, her big, bright blue eyes were clearly sparkling when she looked at me.

Zen couldn’t possibly miss the pink carpet theme full of rose quartz crystals lining the route he was meant to take. Following that path, Zen heard the bouncing sound effects. However, it was very different from all the other slime bouncing sound effects. The orange slimes had a metallic clink, the green slimes sounded squelchy. The pink boss slime sounded like dough on a chopping board but these pink baby slimes… These baby slimes! Boing! Boing! Zen halted just before turning in. He knew that those pink slimes would be inside once he turned. However, the sound effects and their cute little high pitched cries made him swallow hard.

For if he hadn’t, he wouldn’t have known about Eva and Marie’s Sonic Clap. Sonic Clap was a sound based martial art that was difficult to study. Among the Undead, only a few with the exception of Eva and Marie had been able to study this skill and only three – two of them being the female assassins trying to kill Aiden – had been able to completely master it. Sonic Clap wasn’t as destructive as other martial arts, but it was very dangerous. Armed with the ability to destroy the eardrums of any who heard it and disorient as well as temporarily destroy the sense of balance of a person, Sonic Clap was not to be underestimated. Its greatest flaw however was that it was only best used as a sneak

Water sloshed as she clung to the glass, her reflection warping comically. "Solar-powered bubbles," Cassian said, steadying her with a smirk. "Generates energy. The floor? Pure pettiness. My architect thought ‘why walk when you can glide?’" He tapped the glass where a silver carp nuzzled Amara’s distorted reflection. "That’s Bubbles. He’s harmless. Mostly judges your posture." Amara glared at the carp. "He’s smirking." "Robotic fish don’t smirk," Cassian deadpanned. "They lack facial muscles. Unlike Jacques."

“It’s just one drink, c’mon. Please?” I take a sip of the bubbly alcoholic beverage to appease Martha. We finish our first glass and Martha gets herself another after we departed around ten forty-five am. I capped myself at one drink then found myself falling asleep looking out at the scenery passing under the window listening to some calming music playing through my air pods.
