MORGANA: THE ALPHA'S PET

MORGANA: THE ALPHA'S PET

Chloe, Morgana and I were destroyed. “Do you remember when we used to hang out in the garden? The smallest things used to make us so happy back then. Well, it’s not like there was much to be happy about anyways. But your eyes always lit up when you saw the chrysanthemums in Damon’s Garden. Despite everything, you always managed to make Chloe and I smile. You were so full of life and determination. So bright-“

Through Love and Instinct

Through Love and Instinct

Still, I love the author, Priam, but his book this time is confusing. His book was always been things about the morphers; how they live, their traditions and more. But this is the first time I came across something like this and for one thing, it is still, Priam's book. It's still early for my shift at the cafe, so I reach for my phone and type the title of the book. "The...first....born." I muttered typing every letter with my heart beating fast.

My Mate Chose My Best Friend, So His Uncle Claimed Me

My Mate Chose My Best Friend, So His Uncle Claimed Me

Euphyllia loved chrysanthemums. From then onward, every time Redmund neglected her... every time he wounded her with careless words... every time I witnessed another crack forming within the smile she tried so desperately to preserve... a chrysanthemum quietly found its way to her. Along with a handwritten note. Nothing extravagant. Nothing that revealed my identity. Only small reminders that somewhere... someone saw her. I still remembered watching from a distance as she stared at the flowers in confusion, searching every passing face with knitted brows, wondering who the mysterious sender could possibly be.

The heart Beneath the Thorn

The heart Beneath the Thorn

“The rest was already here. My mom started it before she passed. I just… kept adding to it.” Emilia’s chest tightened. And then she saw them. Chrysanthemums. Dozens of them, in full bloom. Their layered petals reached out like stars in shades of white, gold, and deep burgundy. She stepped toward them, as if drawn by something ancient and familiar. She knelt, inhaling their delicate scent. A small smile curved her lips. “My favorite.” “I know,” Max said behind her. She turned, startled. “How?” He shrugged one shoulder, almost sheepishly. “You said it once. Years ago. During a class project, I think. You probably don’t even remember. But I did.”

Sindy Kate

Sindy Kate

I opened the book again and searched for the page where I left unfinished reading. I was just in chapter ten, but I could say it was full of emotion. The character of Sindy Kate was complex. She had full of flaws, yet she was also strong and driven. She was completely the Harry Bloom I knew, and she did a good job in making Sindy a heroine in the story.

Enchanting the Prince

Enchanting the Prince

“When we were on the battlefield, I saw Hyacinth fighting against a fae soldier. He had her mate on the ground and she was punching him, trying to protect her mate with no thought to her own safety, or risk to her own life. While protecting our mates is something we would all do, I know it goes against everything in a sprite to fight. So, I would like to present this book to you, Hyacinth. It’s titled, Hyacinth: A Brave Sprite, and it is the story of our battle and your role in the fight.” When I hand the book to her, she takes it first looking at the title, then holding it to her chest before wrapping her arm around my waist, hugging me tightly. “Thank you, Princess.” The cheers go up again

2nd story in the "next generation" of The Guardian series. This one takes a more fantasy twist but totally works. I was enthralled all the way to the epilogues which had me crying yet again. This author updates regularly & always concludes her stories. No worries about abandoned books with her.

Bloom

Bloom

"This is—wow." Zac chuckled softly. "My grandfather was a big reader. He quoted literature as if he were a human book himself." I turned to look at Zac, my eyes lit up. "Zac, this is amazing." Zac shrugged nonchalantly, smiling. "I thought you'd like it." He walked over to one wall, skimming the shelves until he pulled out a book. "I wanted you to have this." I looked at the book he held out for me to take. It was called "Bloom" by Kelle Hampton. I smiled at the title, meeting his eyes. "Wha—but why?"
