The guard's face pales as soon as he sees me at the door . I drive my claw through his stomach and watch his body fall down.

Greco scoffed while punching his palm with his fist. "It's Alpha Aria to you, Mr. Greco. Now show me what you got, if you dare," I urged him. He kicked the sand around his foot while a growl rose inside his chest. His claws extended, and his canines revealed their sharp edges. I observed this fuming monster warming up. I stood in my fighting stance, ready for whatever he was going to use against me. Finally, he lurched forward with his claws pointed at me like daggers. I scanned his movements as he ran. He was slow, and his overgrown muscles took away most of his agility. His heavy footsteps dug deeply into the sand, making me feel featherlike compared to him.

My claws pop out spontaneously and I quickly push them back in before he might notice it. “I make the rules and your duty is to adhere to them. So come closer or else you want me to leave?
