Cursed Lycan's Scarred Mate Novels & Stories

So i decided to rest a little. But the moon goddess had other ideas for me because i heard noises and footsteps coming down the stairs. The broken door was still broken so they just walked in. Alpha Sol and Alpha Nick, walked in. Alpha Nick was only twenty one but was soon going to take over the pack. He was handsome and charming and everyone hoped he will be their mate. I won't lie, I have always fantasized about him being my mate and rescuing me from my misery. In my perfect imagination I would become his wife and will take my rightful place besides him ruling the Pack.

Me, the Lycan King, pacing and gnawing at myself like some restless pup. Lucian leaned against the stone wall, calm as ever, though his sharp gaze betrayed the weight of what he saw. He knew. He always knew. From the latest report, my little wolf still slept. Hours had passed, yet she hadn’t stirred. Part of me hoped she’d sleep through the night. Maybe into the dawn. Maybe forever. Because the moment she woke, I’d have no choice but to face what was already gnawing at me. The bond. The gods-damned, cursed mate bond.

the other said. “What if the alpha asks?” “We'll say she died and we buried her,” they concluded. My heart plummeted. What? They wanted to abandon me here? My fingers twitched. “We can't do that. Did you see the way he looked at her?” One asked. “He held compassion in them, and I've never seen the vicious lycan looking at any woman like that.” My stomach sank. I was mated to a vicious lycan? I stifled a gulp, feeling my stomach twist into knots.

Raising his face to the wind, he took a deep whiff. Elks. Then he heard her stomach rumble. That wouldn't do. His mate needed to eat. In a blink of an eye, he had the juiciest prey in between his fangs, draining its life. Moving to the clearing, crouched, always on alert, the Lycan listened. She's on her way. He was gone before she could set her gaze on him. Standing at the edge of the treeline, he watched her. The fresh scent of blood mingled with her unique mate scent. Freshly brewed coffee and vanilla. His lips lifted in amusement.

Mary chuckled. "If we're speaking of our sense of belonging, then it's obvious Liliana also doesn't deserve to be here. Now move!!" Raquel said, shoving everyone out of her way and pushing Mary especially. "So pathetic!!!!" Mary scoffed. Liam sat in his room, his mind only on what Raquel had just said. He did say it was gibberish, but it was having more of an effect on him than he imagined it would have. She was right. The wife and mate of the Lycan was only allowed to bear a bloodline of the Lycan, and if he was going to find Liliana, he was going to mark her as his mate. But then, what was going to hinder that was her pregnancy. It was a long-time tradition, and he couldn't go against it.

The white lycan saw that it was its mate who had killed the lycan. And his blood immediately appeared on Amelia's hands. Cara shuddered as she realized that this must have been the vision Amelia had the previous day coming to pass. He wasn’t happy as he wanted to kill the lycan itself. His eyes caught hold of Matilda who was trying to move to her dead mate. He growled and immediately pounced on her and what followed next was a very bloody scene. By the time the lycan backed away, he was holding a heart in its claws which he crushed without a second thought.

Her brown eyes meeting his as she beared her razor sharp teeth. He cowered in fear and she felt his body tremble under her paws. She raised her right paw and swiped across his face, meeting the top of his head with one nail, she grazed him just enough to leave a small scar. Howling in pain, he wriggled beneath her with his tail between his legs. She was led back to her dream, could this be her mate? She asked herself over and over. The hair on her back stood up as she sensed danger lurking nearby.

With a jolt, I snapped out of my reverie, realizing the urgency of the situation. Taking a brief pause to collect my thoughts, I responded, "I and Sarah were having lunch at a restaurant when a lycan suddenly attacked us. It caught us off guard, leaving us unable to flee or defend ourselves in our weaker form. That's just it." My mother interjected, her voice filled with concern, "But Rachel, we saw the video. Where did the other lycan come from? Why did it defend you?"

He looked at her, his expression was impassive and his deep-set eyes portrayed no feelings. “Thank you,” Riley said, getting to her feet. He arched an eyebrow at her, “Thank you?” She nodded, “Yes, thank you for rescuing me from whatever was going on there.” “Lycans.” He said with fury in his eyes. “Those bloody Lycans invaded the pack and they’re attacking everyone. This spells a new beginning for me then.” He averted his eyes from her so she wouldn’t see the murderous glint in them.

The former certainly won over because he crossed his arms over his chest. “We live for centuries whereas most species do not. A lycan losing their mate is like a ticking time bomb waiting to explode. It would be a lot easier on us if we were only mated to lycans, but unfortunately, it doesn’t work that way. I don’t know who found the loophole, but during a lycan mating ceremony, a ritual takes place. The lycan’s life is tied to their mates.” “I still don’t understand. Spell it out for me.”
