Dark Moon 소설 & 이야기

But now, in the hush of night, with no one watching and no mask to wear, I slowly pulled the string loose and let the charm fall into my palm. The silver crescent moon glinted softly in the dim light, the tiny crystals beneath it catching the faintest flickers like falling snow. Cold, delicate, familiar. My throat tightened. WinterMoon. The name struck something in me—like a melody I hadn’t heard in years, one that had lived in my bones long after the sound faded. I could still see it if I closed my eyes. The packhouse nestled in the woods, smoke curling from chimneys. The snowbanks piled high along the edge of the training field. My brothers, Calix and Leo, chasing each other in shifted for

We turn at the same time to see Luka stepping out from the forest, his gold-tinted curls blowing about his face, his brown eyes wide with wonder at the sight of the river. He walks past, still not seeing us. Darius and I look at each other, then scramble up to follow him. Luka stops at the top of the river embankment. He passes his hand over his eyes. When he drops his hand again, he opens his eyes and they are a milky grey colour. The glow disappears from the sky and in the darkness a full moon rises. Not just any moon. I recognize this moon. So pale, so clear, it appears as if behind a layer of ice. The first full moon of the new year. The Wolf Moon.

I hope to see Douglas soon, Lucinda would surely take care of him. To evade suspicion and being noticed, I changed to an alien maid. I would totally fit in with my new nature. As an alien maid, you belonged to the black moon. The black moon is the dark version of the real golden moon, here the dark queen resides with her aliens, most of those she sent to enforce her will and rule on the world. I'm a spirit that stands on the side of light while she stands on the side of darkness. Her celestial name is Devon, no one knows this except her children who are witches and hybrids, with both witch and vampire nature, in the world. One of them is Pandora who is her direct descendant. I can sense her

They orbited towards Dain, so thick and dense that after a few seconds, all I could see were the starry expanse of his eyes, and the whiteness of his teeth. “Darkness, capital ‘D,’ and darkness, lowercase, are two very different things.” He explained, not at all fazed by my mistake. A flutter began low in my stomach as I settled into the armchair, nestling in the blanket that smelled strongly of Dain. How easy it felt sitting here with him. So easy that it wouldn’t be hard to picture this as my room, his bed as our bed. I shook the tempting thoughts from my head, covering my torment with curiosity. “The Darkness and the White Bull are one in the same, manifestations of the purest form of evi

She said, batting her eyelashes at my parents. “That’s very nice of you. Sure!” Mom said, looking at Dad, who nodded at the same time. “Oh, I’ll only come if Izobel will come,” Amber said, pouting and fluttering her eyelashes to me. I gawked at her. ‘Come on, Amber! Tomorrow’s full moon. It might be my time to shine! Hello? A little consideration, please!’ “Of course! Um... Izobel should come, too.” She said, hearing her sigh.

Sixty-seven The moon hangs low in the night sky, casting an eerie glow on Alpha Damon, cloaked in shadow, as he approaches the ancient Moon church. The air is thick with an unnatural cold, and stillness as he slips through the creaking doors with a calculated move. Inside, the moonlight filters through stained glass, creating a surreal atmosphere. Damon's senses heighten, his imposing steps echoing on the cold, stone floor as he moves deeper into the dimly lit space.

★★★ BLUE MOON PACK ★★★ Damon’s mother, Light, was basking in the peaceful moment as she watched over the pup. He was a sweet little boy, no more than three years old, his tiny body curled up in sleep, his breathing soft and rhythmic. Light’s once troubled eyes, now calmer and filled with a nurturing warmth, softened as she brushed a strand of hair from the pup’s forehead. This child, whom Damon had taken under his wing, had become a light in their lives—a reminder of innocence amidst the darkness they often faced.

What if he doesn’t know for sure? I’ve been unlucky my whole life. “Being born under a Black Moon makes you someone who’s fierce and has the power to change the world. Now, that change doesn’t always have to be bad, but it can be. It all depends on what you’re going to do with your life. Your intention. If you decide that you want to dedicate your life to being good, then why should that be a bad thing? I’m not saying that it’s not something difficult to handle, but being born under such a moon can be rewarding.”

Unknown As Flameheart stood in the dimly lit room, shadows flickered ominously against the walls, swirling like dark tendrils. Outside, dark clouds began to gather, casting a heavy gloom over Sunshine City. The air crackled with an unsettling energy, and one by one, the people around him fell into a deep slumber, the weight of the impending storm claiming them as its own. Only Flameheart remained awake, his heart racing, sensing that something momentous was about to unfold.

Fuck. Something runs past me hiding in the shadows of the woods. I stop in my tracks, scared of death. I can almost hear my heartbeat. My blood is raging in my veins. "Show yourself," I yell angrily. I hear a low growl and see strange eyes focused on me for a second. I scream and fall to the ground. "Alice! Alice! Alice!" The voices have gotten closer. Something is definitely following me in the woods. I stand to my feet hurriedly. My cloth and shoes have mud stains on them. "Fuck," I grunt. The midnight bell rings from afar in the village. What a hell of a way to start my eighteenth-year birthday. I hear the growling clearly as it draws closer to me. My hands are shaking as I grab the dagge
