The magic within

The magic within

Her sword swept in a blazing arc, her voice cracking with fury: “Stand down! You think you’ll last a breath without him? Then cut me first!” For a moment, the crypt hesitated. Guild against guild. The vault pressing closer. The altar gave way with a scream of stone. Black light surged upward, blinding, searing. The claws vanished back into the fissure — not retreating, but resetting, as though it had learned something new. The light swallowed Daryl whole. His body jerked once, suspended — then fell limp into Killian’s arms. Silence. The crypt lay stunned. The vault was quiet.

Rejected by the lycan king

The Final Canvas The void collapsed into one single image: Duskfall at twilight, its towers burning in golden flame, its walls crumbling. Beneath them, a new Garden of Hollow blooms, fed by life and choice rather than magic bound in fear. In that Garden, I walked hand in hand with those I loved Rafael, Dahlia, Seris, Xander each scar healed, each burden shared. Demitri glared at her. "If you're not stressing, then you can easily take a break and read a book." Becca said with a huge smirk. Demitri's eyes narrowed, then he got up and walked to the non-fiction part of the library. He picked up a history book about the cold war and sat back down. Run to Ground

Run to Ground

“Say goodbye to your old self, lad. Jim Mcleod must die, so he can be reborn as something truly monstrous. Something that can guard ancient secrets. Something I’d be proud to have as a member of the family, not the cowardly scum you were before. I never had any sons. My wife died giving birth to our only child, a little girl. You were nearly a member of my family, only you weren’t man enough to face up to your responsibilities. I lost my daughter when she left home and took her mother’s maiden name. I never had a chance to make up with her because you drove my little girl to suicide when you ran out on her. “That’s right, lad, I’m Dawn’s father.” THE END

The Fallen Angel

The Fallen Angel

, he paused, taking a step closer to look the man in his eyes before continuing, "And you'll never be able to see us again. Never! Oh! and one more thing, you don't say anything about my brother." With that, he entered his rooms without turning back, closing the door softly, not wanting to wake Vantae. He caressed the younger's hair before he flew out of the window into the dead darkness of night. He never imagined that the darkness would be so peaceful with only the moon and him. Not actually paying attention, he didn't notice when he reached the border of Utopia, a beautiful garden again. The veiled wall separating his world from Abyss. Coming back to his feet, he sat down on the grass as

The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage

"Greetings, Mr. Frank Lawrence," a rich voice answered on the other end. "Let me guess. You're the mysterious Torrent?" "Ah. Skyler Dawn has betrayed me, it seems." "Right. Now tell me, why did you call me?" Frank asked as he sat on the rocking chair in front of the glass wall, while picking up a newspaper and skimming it through it. "To thank you, of course." Torrent chuckled. "For helping me get rid of a thorn on my side."

Frustrated, I slowly opened my eyes. it was so bright I thought I would go blind, my eyes needed time to adjust.

Leading My Family to Glory

Leading My Family to Glory

Any other ordinary fighter would have died immediately after sustaining such horrific injuries. Shaun’s condition took a turn for the worse. Perhaps feeling relieved when he saw Tyr’s arrival, he felt extremely lethargic and struggled to keep his eyes open. “I’m happy to see you again, Tyr.” “Don’t talk, Grandpa Shaun. You will be fine. I’m right here.” Shaun nodded and said, “It has been ten years since we last saw each other. You have become an amazing man! “Tyr, the explosion was masterminded by Draken Willow and Lyra Jade.
