I laughed through my tears. You deserve it. Cassian carried him. Our daughters walked beside us. Our other son stayed close. The Beginning looked toward the peaceful sky. The End stood beside it. Is it finally over? I asked. The Beginning smiled. For the first time... I think it is. I looked at my family. Four children. One husband. One mother returned from the dead. A boy who had once been nothing. And a universe that had finally learned how to live. We started walking home.

He had been thinking about the matter for a long time, and an idea suddenly popped up in his mind.

She didn't even hiss in pain, and her expression remained consistent. Using all that blood, Amy began writing her message to them. The blood was a sign that she wasn't afraid of dying and her only motive now was their destruction. "See you soon..."

This time, I would be happier. A week later, I walked into the event hall with Anthony. The moment I stepped inside, however, I saw Cyrus. My feet were instantly frozen to the ground, unable to move. Anthony held my arm and pulled me forward, whispering into my ear, “If you don’t cast away the shadows of your past completely, they’ll just come back to haunt you later.” I turned and met his gaze. His eyes were firm and warm, giving me strength. I took a deep breath and squeezed his arm with a smile. “Do I look good like this? Can you tell I’ve started over with a fresh slate?”

"Noelle, don't be too hard on Mrs. Scott. She's just following our local custom. When someone dies, we keep them at the funeral home for a few days.
