he asked me, while he stared at the ugly mark Josh had engraved on my right cheek, then at my head which was no longer covered by my long, curly red hair.
I lowered my head and cried while he cradled my face between his warm hands.
"My mate did this and I killed him," Emma said, sadly, and started to sob loudly, throwing herself to the ground.
"He is dead. He is dead, and I killed him," she kept saying, as if she was going insane. I cried harder when I heard her crying in her grief.
