And she and her sisters were punished and sent to the mortal realm with only one body as a vessel. So when Alice dies in the mortal world, Destiny has no choice but to go down to the mortal realm

I stayed there, listening to the snarls and savage laughter of Soren's warriors as they killed my people. I didn't come out from my hiding place until days later when the Rogue king found me there, weak and trembling from the ruins.
