Today's plan was successful. I took the woods instead of the road. So, no one would have thought it wise to check the woods just yet. I contemplated my situation. I was all alone in the woods, and I had no goddamn clue where I was. Why the fuck had I thought this plan would work. I turned in another direction and began to maneuver through the trees. Panic began to rise in my chest as the branches tore at my arms and dress. "Surely the house was back that way. So the road must be this way."
