“You have to eat.” Deimos growls, bares his razor-sharp little teeth, and bites into my breast, settling down when the blood starts flowing into his mouth. ** I gasp and sit upright, grabbing my aching breasts. My bra and shirt are soaked, and the memory of the dream is still so fresh that I can’t bring myself to look down. It takes a while for my heartbeat to return to normal.

I usually had that dream after a particularly stressful day or if I’d had any alcohol. Ah. That would be why I felt like there was a hammer drill in my head and the Sahara desert in my mouth. “Uuuurrgghhh” I moaned as I rolled over to grab the glass of water next to my bed. The water disappeared in a couple of seconds and I swear I didn't even swallow. My mouth just absorbed it. I flopped back down on my bed and tried to put the dream out of my mind and remember why I felt this way.

I hold onto the basin and try to ground myself but i cant. The thought of him finding me is causing me to have a panic attack. I try and focus on anything around me but nothing is working, and that’s when I notice my eyes. My eyes are glowing golden and my gums are hurting like crazy. I open my mouth and can see my gum is splitting to accommodate for the growth of my canines. I scream out in pain.

Resting his chin on the top of her head, he murmured, "I've done everything to win you over. How could I bear to give you away?" Mia had a dream filled with bloodshed. She saw Jensen lying on the ground, covered in blood, and no matter how she called to him, he would not open his eyes. She felt intense fear, suffocation, and despair in the dream. Finally, she woke up crying, her heart aching, and a cold sweat covered her back. She stared blankly at the ceiling above, taking a while to realize she was in a moving vehicle. The car swayed as it sped along. Remembering the milk she drank before passing out, her heart sank, and she quickly sat up.

Gasping for breath, I tried to sit up, but my eyes were drawn upward. Blood. A torrent of blood poured from above, cascading down like rain, drenching me in its warmth. My scream caught in my throat as the blood got into my mouth, warm and thick. I jolted awake, choking and gagging, my hands clawing at my throat as if to rid myself of the blood I had swallowed. But nothing came. No blood, no relief. My hands clutched at my chest as I wheezed, heart hammering, the terror from the dream still pulsing through me.

I pointed at her face, feeling furious. Suddenly, my throat felt hot. I could barely breathe in oxygen because of the coughing that didn't pause at all. I felt something strange happening to my body. There was a burning sensation inside my skin that made me feel petrified and uncomfortable. Suddenly, I felt a blood-like discharge coming out of my teeth that was sharp and piercing. I felt like I was waking up from a nightmare, and my vision instantly turned dark and blurry. I felt thirsty and wanted to find something that could quench my thirst. Not only that, but I felt like finding a source of blood to drink.

It’s to be expected when its teeth sink into my unpinned shoulder, crunching through my bones. My own scream has me falling out of bed. Shit. Sweat slicks my skin and my hands are shaky as if it was real. It was just a dream. A dream I’ve had plenty of times before. It always ends the same. With me bleeding out in the ditch just like my mother.

Maybe I partied too hard, and my body can not take it. "I’m up," I yell back, dragging my tired body out of bed and into the bathroom. Standing in front of the mirror, my long black hair is out of control, as if I went ten rounds with my pillow last night. I had another strange dream last night where this lady tells me to run from the monster chasing me. I keep running as this thing with blood-red eyes chases me. I always wake up right as it gets to me, and I'm always covered in sweat. My body shakes when I wake up. I don't understand what it means.

Riven At three in the morning, a strong vision of fire and blood came again. Jolting awake, I found myself drenched in sweat with my hands shaking so badly I had to grip the sheets to steady them. Blood filled my mouth even though I wasn't bleeding. The vision burned in my mind. So much screaming. Voices I knew but couldn't place. Forcing myself to breathe, I counted. In. Out. In. Out.

Blood poured out of the scratched areas on my skin and formed a pool on the ground. My face slashed as a result of the insane scratching and blood gushed out and mixed with the blood on the ground. At that moment, the itching completely halted, and my flesh began to burn ferociously. Meanwhile, the pool of blood on the ground swirled and began to take the shape of a face, with pupil-less eyes and razor-sharp pointed teeth which hissed loudly and I let out a clamour. My eyes flipped open and I jerked up, as a result, I collided with Judy’s head which was only inches away from my face, releasing a moan of pain. I was lying safely on my bed at home, it had only been a nightmare.
