Ear Whistle When Blowing Nose Novels & Stories

I cover my ears wishing my surroundings smaller. There's a low crying sound somewhere. It takes me a while to figure out that the sound is coming from me. It's the sound of a whimpering animal. I take a couple of deep breaths to calm myself. I keep my eyes closed and just let the sound wash over me. It's just the air, just my environment.

I tell myself as I sigh hard. I'm grown, I can like a kid, Bella is one. "Jay, open up!" My Mom called. "What happened... Have your dinner first!" She yelled. I want to speak to her but I can't... My nose started to bleed. The second time in one week. I didn't have any drugs. I feel my nose, I don't have any injury. My chest is beating unusually, I can hard breath through my nose, I start breathing from my mouth. Sit slowly on the floor to regain myself.

Eden whispers. “She better. I did.” And I did…because it hurt. The little stud in my right nostril might look cute, but that bitch nearly made me faint. And the weeks afterwards. Awful. The slightest touch, I would hiss with frustration. And forget sleeping. Especially being a stomach sleeper, it was nearly impossible.

I checked her nose but she wasn’t breathing. “W-What am I going to do?” My hands trembled. Myvision spun. I roamed my sight. Grip kept on attacking but I couldn’t hear anything. Silence ate the surrounding. I forced my eyes closed and slapped both of my cheeks hard enough to gather my mind.

His sharp jaw was set, but his eyes were soft and steady. "Good," Ethan said. "Now, do exactly what I do. Breathe in through your nose. Take a deep breath. Count to three." He took a slow, deep breath. His chest rose. I tried to copy him. I sucked in air through my nose. It felt sharp and cold, but it went in. "One, two, three," Ethan counted out loud. "Now, blow the air out through your mouth. Slowly. Like you are blowing out a candle."

“Who the hell are those people?Ethan sobbed ,his head tucked between his knees. “Noah, what the hell is that sound?” The sound was back. That whistling, screaming noise of the bullets. They were flying past the windows, leaving trails of shimmering white smoke in the air. Every time one got close, the “gold” in my head flared up, a blinding flash of warning that made my teeth ache.

I opened an eye and saw the woman next to me spraying herself with perfume. What the fuck? Who does that? I was allergic to certain colognes. It wasn't severe, but it was a pain in the nose. I tried to ignore the intrusive scent and concentrate on Mr. Patel's smooth voice as he instructed us. My nose was like a ticking time bomb of sneezes, and no amount of wiggling could diffuse the situation. The itchiness was spreading like wildfire, and I knew I was about to unleash a nasal symphony of epic proportions.

My face feel all wrinkled up and folded like a used up paper, like the used tissue paper I'm currently squeezing in my tightly clenched fist. "Drink a little, I'm not asking you to drink everything." Silas cajoled softly, shaking the plastic bottle of water in my face, a few droplets flew out and landed on my face toy distaste. "Stop sprinkling water on me, it's fucking cold." I snapped, wiping my face with another roll of the tissue paper before blowing my nose again. What's with my nose now? This is one thing about crying, my nose would probably keep running till the end of today.

It created a narrow choke point where the wind shrieked through broken window frames. The sound was high-pitched and relentless. Auditory texture: sharp, whistling, cutting through the thin air. The vibration of the wind rattled the loose glass in the frames above my head, a rhythmic clatter that masked the sound of fifty Sand-Eaters breathing in the dark. "Hold," I whispered into the comms. My own voice felt like grit in my throat. My jaw was locked, the masseter muscles bunching until my molars ached. The Sand-Eater Alpha crouched beside me. He licked his chops, a wet, repetitive sound. His yellow eyes were dilated, fixated on the horizon where a cloud of red dust rose into the atmosphere.

"But I’m quite interested in the current situation I am in." She halted for a moment, took a deep breath, and tilted her head up as if listening to the wind. Then, suddenly, she placed two fingers in her mouth and let out a sharp whistle that pierced the air. I winced and covered my ears, overwhelmed by the shrill sound bouncing off the valley’s walls.
