“We need to end this before it tears us apart.” The Seer’s eyes glowed faintly, her voice rising above the chaos. “It is not brute strength that ends it—it is acceptance. What you deny will only grow stronger.” She thrust her staff down, and a ripple of power spread across the chamber, momentarily forcing the echoes back. “Face yourselves. Do not reject your shadow—acknowledge it, and it loses its hold.”

“Shh… It’s all right. You’re not alone.” The shadow recoiled but did not retreat. > If you embrace us, you risk corruption. If you deny us, the cycle repeats. Lunara closed her eyes, breathing deeply. “Then I won’t do either.” --- The Embrace of the Unremembered She spread her arms, letting her light expand until it touched the edges of the darkness. For a moment, the cosmos was divided—light and shadow, creation and the forgotten, heartbeat and silence. Her face ran the gamut from shock to fury, then settled on a look of deep compassion. "You do what you need to do," she said. "I've got your back." I nodded, my throat tight, and after ordering some custom glasses with a hidden camera, I boarded the train home. Before stepping inside, I flicked on the glasses' secret eye.

Golden arrows slowly emerged, timidly trying to chase away the shadows of the night. The great fire disc made its appearance. First, it emerged as a red line growing wider and wider until it rose victorious into the angelic blue sky, ready to stretch its arms over the whole earth. It tamed its color slightly, becoming comforting as it shyly soaked up the night frost with which you would think it was soothing its own color.

I plead, and she looks into my eyes, searching for any hesitation, but when she doesn’t, she drops my hands and moves away. “Fine, I’ll tell you.” My excitement is swiftly wiped away by her next words. “The shadow god is an abomination. He was never supposed to be born. He’s the product of an unholy ritual, an anomaly.”

"Well, since the Alpha of the dimming pack had tried everything possible to stop the wolf who went rogue from killing other wolves, here's my verdict; He should be banished alongside his family and never to return to the midnight city again and he should be beaten mercilessly before he leaves. If his shadow is seen in any of the packs in this midnight city, both the Alpha of the pack and him will be banished again. That's my verdict," Ethan said and closed down the file. "Is that all?" The exhaustion from my emotions dragged me away into the darkness easily. I closed my heavy eyes as my subconscious took over. The dark abyss appeared around me. Pure darkness with no escape. I wasn't falling, instead standing on the water but never being wet. I heard the ticking of the clock. Tick, tick, tick. Panic was rising. I had no idea what the ticking was or where it was coming from, but something deep inside me knew it was not good. I felt like it signaled the end. But the end of what was unclear.

“Embrace it, or be forever lost in its shadows.” I stand face to face with the ghostly reflection of myself, feeling the weight of every regret and sorrow I've ever carried within me. The words reverberate through the corridors of time, stirring something deep within my soul. With a steady gaze, I reach out and grasp the ghostly figure's hand, a silent acknowledgement of the pain and loss that has shaped me. “I will not be defined by my past,” I declare, my voice strong and resolute. “I will carry its lessons forward, but I will not let it consume me.” As I speak these words, a surge of power courses through me, driving back the shadows that threaten to engulf me.
