"Then it'll be just like old times." Misty opened the book and smiled as Eva shuffled around to get comfortable on her lap. Misty then read out the title of the book. Vampires and Their Beloveds "Is this a story or an information book?" Eva questioned her mother. "Looks like it's an information book," Misty spoke out as she turned the page. Before Misty could start reading again, Eva could hear the alarm clock ringing once again in her shared room with Alana. Eve quickly rose to her feet and sighed.

Tara found herself with Odette walking towards the portal. - Kieran was welcomed by a lot of books everywhere after barging in his sister's room. "What the hell Kieran?" "What the hell Karma? You're a book worm now?" he stated as he examined every books scattered around her room. "The Mystics. The History of Ancient Fairies. The Legend of Red Serpent. What the hell?" Karma glared at her. "Could you please keep your hands off of my books? I need to know something. So be quiet or just leave", irritated, she gathered all the books in one place.

I closed the door behind me, noticing how Evie gleefully gasped, striding over to the full bookcase where she found the book, "The Art of Profanity." "You remembered," she stated, pulling the crude book from the bookshelf, noticing it had been bookmarked in the middle. "And you've been reading it?" I chuckled. "Yes. Explains a lot about you. I also have another wardrobe with the clothes you picked from Elijah's shop." She put the book down, beaming as she stepped to the second wardrobe, taking in her taste in clothing. Evelyn turned, her wide skirt billowing around her. "I missed you."

She stares at it for a full thirty seconds before she opens the cover and sees the signature. For a second, the mask drops completely. Her lips part. Her eyes go wide. I see the shock. I see the realization that I paid attention to something that has no value other than sentiment. I expect a softening. A smile. A crack in the wall we’ve built. Instead, Eve snaps the book shut and drops it on the nightstand. It lands with a careless, dismissive thud.

I woke up with a start, my heart racing. The dream lingered, Eve's face etched in my mind. It wasn't just any Eve, but the Eve from the mating ceremony. "The Eve" who had stirred something within me. As I lay there, memories flooded my mind: her smile, her laughter, her tears. And the realization hit me: the Eve from my dream was the same Eve I met at the ceremony. My mind reeled. How could this be?

As I had told her earlier, I was big on romance books, but hers would always be an exception. Halfway into the book, I realized that she was actually writing about us, exact sex scenes...very detailed. I finished the book last night, she ended with our last moment with each other. From the look of things, the book would definitely be having a sequel and of course Sloane and Gavin would surely come back together...which was definitely same thing that would happen between Eve and I. From the flyer I saw on her I*******m page, the event starts by four in the evening, so I have more than enough time to get ready and be there on time.
