Falling Off The Cliff Novels & Stories

I don’t know how long it’s been, but my ears are filled with countless desperate and unwilling screams, and I can even hear the frightening sound of bones cracking when someone falls on a rock. He can’t think about it in detail, for fear of not paying attention. As soon as his hand slipped, he became the next person to fall off the cliff. He searched for the fitting point of the stone wall again and again, and threw the iron hook in his hand again and again. He was as numb as a spider moving forward slowly. Don't know how long it took, the scorching sun disappeared, and the mountain and rock walls became cooler.

Just when I thought all hope was lost, the call finally connected. "Vanessa, please, I'm begging you to help me..." What came through the line was the sound of heavy breathing.

The break is corrupt! My hands are damn shaking because in just a minute I would probably fall in that damn cliff! I tried again and again the break but it’s totally not functioning! I closed my eyes intently and tried so hard to think. I tried to open the door but it was too late. Before I can open the door my car slowly fell off in the cliff. I shouted in horror and I could only think about is…this time it would really be my end. This is my end. My tears fell and I feel dizzy. My head is throbbing as I felt the gravitational force of falling down from a high cliff.

It broke the ice wall and sent me flying over the edge of the cliff. "Fuck!" I groaned grabbing onto the edge as I held on for my dear life. I could feel my fingers slipping as the ground was icy and I could hear tiny rocks fall downwards as I swung on my wavering balance, don't look down Nyx! Don't look down! Don't look down! I chided myself but I did the opposite. My gaze travelled downwards and I gulped in fear of ever falling from this place. The wolves whom were howling the other time were down there prancing waiting for another prey and it wouldn't be a pretty sight if I was to fall down.

He clenched his fists, forcing himself to stay calm, and looked down at the cliff beside him. The cliff was nearly vertical, once someone fell, the chances of survival were almost nonexistent. “Search the area around here immediately.” “And search below the cliff as well!” He pointed ahead, but his hand trembled slightly, his voice turning hoarse. His henchmen did not dare delay for even a second; some had already begun clinging to the cliff face, making their way down. “There’s blood here too.” The echo rose from below, turning everyone’s faces deathly pale. Even Christopher nearly buckled and fell to his knees.

My eyes taking in my surroundings, my position. My legs were bent backwards, underneath my ass. My head...my neck...it was twisted up and angled in a way that seemed like I was upside down, only that it had twisted way too much to one side. My arms... "I can't feel my arms," I sobbed slowly, pain shooting straight through me from that. But I couldn't help it. I fell. I fell down a cliff. A cliff, a high fucking cliff. Was I dead? Was I alone?

She opened her eyes and the first thing her sight welcomed was the never ending darkness beneath her as she was facing sideways and her eyes was strained downwards with her hands hanging on a the edge of the cliff holding the rest of her body from falling. "Ahhh!" She screamed in fright and with strength that she never knew she had, she lifted herself up and onto the surface and rolled and laid on her back before she slipped into her demise by a single mistake. Her eyes were shut tight as she breathed loudly.

His arm went limp. He dropped the baby. Time moved in slow motion. I screamed. Lyra fell. She tumbled out of the blankets and over the edge of the cliff. "NO!" I lunged forward but I was too far away. Victor moved. He did not run. He vanished. He blurred into a streak of black shadow. He threw himself off the cliff after her. He dove into the abyss without hesitation. I reached the edge just in time to see them falling. Victor was a black dart against the white snow far below. Lyra was a tiny spark of light.

Slowly we pulled ourselves up and over the cliff. The top of the cliff had soft beautiful green grass. We hoisted ourselves up and over the edge and crawled on the grass away from the edge . We collapsed on the grass, turning to lay on our back and stared up at the sky. How did things get this so off track? So messed up and Why do all these things just keep happening to us! I breathed deeply as I tried calming my humbled mind.
