Fantasy Elf Books Novels & Stories

I couldn't even process the pain in Rowan's voice because my brain was spinning in absolute confusion. Elves? Elves actually exist in this world? I had spent weeks reading through the vast, ancient history books in the palace library, trying to learn everything about this realm. I had read about Lycans, wolves, witches, and ancient beasts. But there was not a single line, not a single word about elves in any of those books!

But other than that, you can't tell anything is wrong with her. Fairies are connected to nature just like nymphs and sprites. We all share a special sort of bond to help the earth grow. It's our job as nature nurturers to keep her safe and healthy. So when something comes along and tries to destroy it, she cries out to us for help. Some of us are gifted with a special healing ability that works on nature, but unfortunately it doesn't work on people, or I could heal myself.

But it only happens if I touch the person” Julie continues. ”Congratulations, Julie. This sounds like a blessing, a gift” Ashton softly tells her. ”Okay, so I’m assuming you guys are here looking for something in the books to elaborate on this?” I say, understanding dawning on me. ”Yeah. I found a few books about different kinds of creatures and only one book about elven history. Could you help us out and scan these?” Aiden asks, looking at me and Ashton. ”Of course” Ashton replies immediately. ”Come on, love, let’s start with this.” Ashton pulls me down beside him and opens a giant book, at least three thousand pages long. ”Alright, I’m on!” I exhale sharply.

Fiarra crossed her arms and yelled at me. “I am sorry! I couldn’t sleep so i thought i should use this time to get trained.” i explained. Jacob lifted the book and scanned it carefully, “did the elf give you this?” he asked. “Yeah! What?” “I asked for this book once when I noticed it in the library. He refused to give me because he thinks this book doesn’t belong to me.” Jacob was mad at the elf. “He is annoying1 once he told me that I will never be able to be a mother! I hate that idiot elf.” Fiarra complained.

Elena said, looking up to see the winter fairy spirit in front of her. “Is that what you think? Do you know what you're about to do? That book you possess is called the book of shadows which contains spells and magic that could lead to ultimate chaos and destruction! You must be very careful Elena when you use such spells.” The winter fairy said gazing at her. “How come I am able to read and understand these words. I know I haven't seen this kind of writing.” Elena said, handing the book to the winter fairy spirit.

Most of the pages in the front were smudged too terribly to read anything but once it became legible, I started to shake with happiness. It was a story book! Eagerly I began reading the first story that wasn't destroyed. MY mouth dropped open in wonder at this finding. It was a shadow elf storybook, and a very old one. Page after page I flipped through the words absorbing every word that I could. The stories were full of ghastly creatures similar to the ghoulcat and the heroes of ancient Gwathendor who fought them. And their lady loves that they saved along the way. Soon enough I was hunched over the bed with the little book in my lap and my head in the clouds.

‘GEOGRAPHY AND FAIRYTALE SECTION’ spelled at the top of the shelf and as Gerey scanned from book to book, he remembered a few he'd read at school, ‘Knowing Wabrook's Water Brooks and Bodies’ by Whitaker Flarogue, ‘Sunset at Ingfalls’ by Simponie Gugh, ‘The best habitat for all - Ingfalls - Book One’ by Cuulambs Nicktra, but they were not what he searched for. He narrowed his eyes in concentration as he skimmed tens of book covers before he came across the right material to satisfy his interest, ‘Pixies, Elves, Brownies, Fairies - What Every Kid Needs to Know’ with no author mentioned as the writer. He pulled the book out from among the others with caution and took it to the seat he'd secured

, Kolafo debated. The elder elf did not reply back. He was in a hurry to leave. After finish packing, he called the attention of Adolfo. “Adolfo, come here”, the elder elf said. “Yes, Master”, Adolfo immediately replied. The elder elf handed him an old thick book. In front of its cover were precious stones with different colors. “What is this Master?”, asked Adolfo. “That is the book of wisdom”, the elder elf replied. “Everything you need to know is in that book”, he added.

I raised my hands but indicated I surrender. “Even if… I appear… in front… of you… you won’t… be able to… see me… I am a… spirit after all… but unless… you are an Elf… you could.. see me…” My eyes went wide after hearing it. Holy crap! Seriously!? the Elf!? Arghhh why do I always forget that this is a fantasy novel. Of course! Elves won't be uncommon. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a dragon.

"Be my guest." The truth hurt. Blood magic and essence magic didn't mix and Curzon knew it. He looked ready to tear her from the horse and let it trample her, but a horn sounded, taking his attention. His men surrounded Violet and Curzon, raising swords and spears. The air turned damp and heavy; clouds settled into the treetops. A charge sounded as riders clad in black and gold appeared with a tall elf on a spotted horse leading them. Violet couldn't take her eyes off him. His white hair hung long past his shoulders and a gold crown sat on his brow. His amber eyes carried spun gold inside as if the sun had settled within his gaze for a moment.
