So I began to adjust my position calmly: first relax my shoulder and back muscles, tuck my arms to my chest to reduce the space my body took up, then slowly support the floor with my elbows and shift my center of gravity back little by little. Flipping the page over, I read a few more lines. The book was quite intriguing. But after a few pages, it was slipping out of reality and going through some non realistic stories. By the time I read my third fairytale story about a fairly young woman getting lost at sea and ended up falling in live with a beast that lived beyond the lands of the five Kingdoms, I softly closed the book and let out a sigh. "That was fun." Prince Victor sarcastically commented before lifting his arms over his head and letting out a loud yawn.

he asked, his voice filled with a longing for more. Mama Hazel, her heart warmed by his enthusiasm, smiled. "Of course, Theo. What kind of story would you like to hear?" Theo, his eyes sparkling with mischief, grinned. "Tell me a story about a princess who can fly!" And so, Mama Hazel, her imagination ignited by Theo's request, spun a tale of a princess who could soar through the sky on the back of a giant, feathered bird. She described the princess's adventures, her encounters with talking animals, and her quest to save a kingdom from a wicked sorcerer.

His big eyes stared at me with hope and anticipation. I pulled him closer and placed his head on my chest. He wrapped his tiny arm around my stomach. I started running my fingers in his silky hairs. It was a surreal feeling that I couldn’t explain in words. I felt the motherly instinct when I didn’t give birth to a child myself. “Will you tell me a ghost story, Mom?” He poked my cheek. “I don’t know any ghost story but I can tell you the story of a young prince who befriended a lion. It’s not a fairy tale.” I said.

The red cap soon turning into dust in the foreign realm. Upon sensing my presence, he trotted happily toward me. “Long time no see buddy,” I whispered the words when he snuggled into my shoulder. “Take us home.” I sigh, climbing onto his back and holding tight. Picking up speed toward the water he gradually lifted us in the air. Galloping now through the thick haze just above the dark waters.

Stepping away, I pull the net curtain up, waiting until Jessa comes to tend to my room. By the time she is done, I've finished translating old Jade Province dialectic from a book from Tai's library. It's old tales of the Beast, stealing children from villages, some never to be seen again. It's hard to tell how much of it is true accounts, and how much of it is fiction.

A man hit by a car in New York in 1977 got up uninjured, but lay back down in front of the car when a bystander told him to pretend he was hurt so he could collect the insurance money. The car then rolled forward and crushed him I don't own any of this stories. I found them in some creepy books. I'm thinking of writing my own scary stories, but not anytime soon. I punched the bridge of my nose and rubbed my temples, telling the stress that had chained me to release me from it's shackles. Jade's turn and she told a story that had already been written by some author known as Godwin Hosanna Aga. The book was named in the deep and it was about some girl named Hephzibah and it was pretty interesting and scary the way my baby sister had told it with a touch light under her chin, illuminating her face and weird canines. "And that is, in the deep!" Jade screamed, stomping her feet on the floor and howling like a wolf.

I consoled him and gave him some water. “She locked me up in the store room” “WHAT? IN THE STOOR ROOM? HOW DID YOU COME HERE! Tell me everything.” I questioned. “I was locked inside since morning and when she opened me up, I ran and hid here. She warned me that she’ll lock me again if I told this to anyone.” I stood up and as I went forward Zac held my leg and started to cry. “Please don’t go. I don’t want to get locked please.”
