Seeing he was closing in, she straightened to give him clearance. He silently moved in line with her. His thin bat-like wings, trimmed in feathers along the bone were perfectly designed to be silent when he was coasting. She flapped next to him. Her quick beats were more akin to a hummingbird. She buzzed sideways and forward, then adjusted to stay next to him. The smile on her face lit the sky. So contrary to the dark shades of her guise. Her eyes were flashing brightly. Still uniquely blue instead of the usual blood red. She exuded joy as if her every breath were a taste of life.

Her eyes, they shine with a crisp silver glow, captivating and illuminating the surrounding space. I can’t help but envy her perfect complexion, stressing her exquisite facial features. It’s clear that she is the divine offspring of God, the creator of all things, and Selene, the creator of all shifters. But what steals my breath away are her wings, almost translucent yet radiating with neon hues. They span several yards in each direction, reaching above her head and cascading down to her ankles, a mesmerizing sight that leaves me in awe.

He didn't realize that the joy Raymond felt when he was called by his name had created a new feeling within Ravi, like many butterflies flying out of his chest. "Ravi?" She moves her arms gently, no more pain. She opens her eyes to look at herself, her arms are gone, replaced with wings. The tips of her wings were bright orange, then they transition to a darker red colour until her elbow, or where it had been. Then they turn to striped feathers, of a dark yellow almost gold and a deep blood red. She moves them a little, and looks up at Ash and Kai.

Since Adrian was a demon, he didn't need anything to be able to see in the dark. Shaking her head, Fin'esia stepped forward. She pushed her wings out on her back. "rutilans mediocris alis. (glowing fairy wings.)" Fin'esia chanted in a low voice. Her beautiful pink butterfly wings started glowing like a star in the dark.

Pull them in against your body, just like putting your arms down.” Emerial said, it was cute that he was coaching me on how to use my wings, but I guess he would know. I smiled and did as he instructed. And then I pulled them forward and wrapped them around myself. I watched them change again, It was like the gold solidified, the feathers and colors all blended, and they became like two shields. Emerial clapped and patted my back he was very proud.

Frosty swamp water spurted when the edges of her right wing hit the murky swamp floor instead of piercing Angelo like a shish-kebab.

A shriek came out of her mouth which made Anna look behind to find Aura falling down. "Aura!" Anna panicked and screamed taking her name and jumped off without thinking of the consequence. Suddenly she felt a burning sensation on her back and soon two jet-black wings came out of her back. Each feather has the top part jet black with the hairs or fibers sticking out of the sides, while the end of the edge itself is blood red. Flipping the wings in the air she flies down and catches Aura before she falls into the river of fire.

The shallow waters swirled around her causing blue wings to burst out of her back, shredding her shirt. The waters calmed and set her down. She wobbled for a moment before looking to me. Her blue and white wings came out of her shoulders and stopped just above her knees. Her hair turned from its original dark brown to white. Her eyes still staring at me confused. I was confused myself, I had no idea what just happened. She took in a deep breath and stepped out of the water. Her wings retreating into her back. Her blue eyes dimmed slowly as she wrapped her arms around me.

Once she was completely naked she closed her eyes and began to Shift into her raven form. I had never seen anyone but Arden Shift before, so watching as her bones snapped and rearranged beneath her skin shocked me. Sleek black feathers sprouted out of her changing body and her arms morphed strangely, appearing more and more like wings. Her legs thinned out and quickly slipped out of the shackles, her wings too thin and becoming nothing more than feathers and delicate bones dropping the chains with a loud clunk. Her soft face became covered in fluffy little feathers as well, with a beautifully curved beak replacing her mouth and nose.
