Cerita ini bermula dari kunjungan Amelia Caras (Mia), seorang gadis nyaris pengangguran ke kedai kopi teman masa kecilnya sekaligus pemuda yang ia sukai diam- diam selama ini, Juan Zavala. Mereka sebenarnya saling menyukai tapi Mia selalu menolak perasaan Juan.
