A roar leaves his lips and his body tries to shift, but is unsuccessful. I take note of his body. There are slashes and gashes that are bleeding on his back. His chest and ribs look like they have been chewed on. His ankle is definitely broken. His face is bleeding and cut and his one eye is swollen shut. The other eye I can't even make

One last roar as I brace for impact as I fight to phase and take me away from this place. The ground draws closer. My shadows crackle once. Then— BLACK
