Not without rocking the boat at least once in my life. Feeling reckless, I said, “The funniest thing happened to me at the reunion last night,” i began, waiting for my parents to ask me to tell them more. But it was as if I hadn’t even spoken. My mother got up to refill my father’s wineglass and he started another boring tale about golfing with some old cronies from work.

Something was simmering over medium heat, just like that. And it was none other than a question: Haven't you ever experienced that when you hear what seems to be a good joke, you laugh until you can't anymore? That your body feels weak from repeated laughter? Has that ever happened to you? Because if so, there's an answer to that, and it was at this moment, outside the campus, the three of them sitting on the bleachers of the football field during their short break, laughter bursting forth, trying to lower the intensity but unable to.

I'm all for going to a comedy show, but when I'm the only person who is there to laugh, it's way less funny and 10 times more awkward. Frankly, I didn't really find any of his jokes that funny either... and he told a LOT of jokes. But, I did my best to fake believable laughs, and I even attempted a joke or two of my own. By the time I arrived at the top floor though, I can honestly say I felt mentally drained. I felt as though my quota for faking nice today was already met, and that's not really the way I should feel as I moved to sit across from Dakota.

They came across a small pond, where they sat and watched the ducks swimming in the water. They felt at peace in the serene atmosphere of the garden, and they felt a sense of gratitude for the opportunity to experience such beauty. One of the funniest experiences they had on their trip was when they went to a local market. They were browsing the stalls, looking at the various goods for sale, when they came across a stand selling hats.

It was, as you can imagine, a spectacle one marked by shock, disbelief, and a whole lot of laughter from those of us who heard about it. Those moments, capturing two people in their most raw, natural state both metaphorically and literally, made it unforgettable. The tour group, still grappling with the experience of witnessing such candid misbehavior, would carry the tale back to their homes, recounting the astonishing tale of what transpired during what they thought would be just another routine excursion into nature. That day will forever be etched in our organization's collective memory as one of those surreal experiences that no amount of retelling could ever adequately encapsulate.

“Cold burger in prison, that's a little too much don't you think?” She turns in my direction and shrugs “I wouldn't know Vee I've never been to prison, not even as a school trip, is that weird?” “I feel like I haven't experienced anything.” “I must have lived a very sheltered life and now I feel like I'm cheating myself by not having experiences of all of these things.”

Work today was going smooth, no drama, no need for extra shifts and no reports to write. I was scrolling through my phone during my lunch break, I stumbled upon a compilation of funny baby videos. Giggles bubbled up inside me as I watched a little one try to eat spaghetti for the first time, ending up covered in sauce. A genuine smile stretched across my face. They were just so… pure. So full of innocent joy.

Jim chuckles, adding his own twist to the tale, "Well, speaking of rain, I remember this one time when our family camping trip turned into a muddy adventure. We ended up making the best mud pies, and Mom was not happy about it!" Jonathan, intrigued, leans in and shares, "Rain seems to be the theme tonight. You know, back in college, there was this legendary prank involving a rain machine. Let me tell you, that story still makes me laugh." Laughter echoes through the room as we dive into one amusing story after another. The living room, once a serene space, now resonates with the joyous sound of shared narratives. "Look proud." "I'm trying." "Try harder." His grin returned. I could tell he was enjoying this far too much. The conversation drifted toward safer topics. We talked about movies, his travels and embarrassing work stories. To my surprise, Roman had plenty of them. Apparently, being wealthy didn't protect people from making fools of themselves. At one point, he described accidentally walking into the wrong boardroom during an important meeting. I laughed so hard my eyes watered as he spoke. The image was too ridiculous and Roman looked offended, which only made it funnier.

Betsy’s POV I laughed so intensely that my stomach began to ache. The experience felt unusual yet pleasant because it brought me an excessive level of enjoyment. This moment enabled me to rediscover the ability to laugh without restraint which I had forgotten. Caroline told me how our lecturer accidentally shared a romantic message intended for his wife with the entire class group chat, which she described in a way that made the story funnier. Caroline demonstrated the situation by showing how he attempted to remove the first message but sent another message which said "please ignore previous message" instead.
