Anya suddenly felt tension rising up around her and she knew she had to do something to get it down. "Are you going to try me too man?" Larry asked with a serious expression and Ronan's face slowly turned pale. Anya was about to hold him back when he burst out laughing and the others chimed in as if his laughter was the cue they were all waiting for while Anya felt stupid for worrying over their puerile act.

Carson gave me a little pout. "Ok, I was thinking about Harry Potter and what he would have done in a situation like that, so I pointed the stick and yelled EXPELLIARMUS!" Everyone froze, Declan's mouth hit the table. Cleo and Gerry were giving me the 'what the fuck' look. Carson was the first one to topple over with laughter. "Fuck Luna. You are one crazy girl, you're lucky you're Gidian's mate or else you would have been a goner." He continued his laughter.

I’ve read better jokes in the joke book our cook Borya keeps next to the toilet.” That earned me an actual laugh, one that sobered as fast as it came. Because Ronan stood behind me watching us like we were both Martians who had displeased him.

Ron raised an eyebrow at me and a sly smirk flashed across his lips. "They're dead already," Ron replied causing me to stop walking and frown at him. "Then why the fuck are you smirking?" I asked Ron but the smirk on his lips widened even more. "Because they're dead already?" He replied which annoyed me big time. "You think it's funny?" I asked him seriously causing him to stop from smirking and looks at me with a serious face.

One alpha had even thrown a glass of wine at him. “You want me to fight with you?” the alpha had said, his voice full of hate. “You are nothing. You’re the crazy one who lost his Luna.” Ron had smiled, but inside, he had wanted to rip the man’s throat out. His hands had clenched under the table, nails digging into his palms. Blood had almost spilled right there. But he didn’t move. Not yet. Crazy? They always said that. But Ron knew the truth. He wasn’t crazy. The rest of the world was blind. He was the only one who saw things clearly. He was the only one who knew how to fix it all.

He was clearly mocking me. “Oh, you think that is funny?” I ran over to him and pinched him on his shoulder. “Ouch” he cried out, he grabbed me by the arm and hugged me. “Oh, someone is in a good mood today” I made a comment as I hugged him back. “Why wouldn’t I be? I have the world’s best butterfly hunter with me.” he said with his worm and manly voice. “Shut up” I giggled. “Oh” Shawn said “You remember Ron King right?”
