She didn't understand why Victor wanted to search for his sister. According to him, she was separated from him when she was six years old.

"She perished due to an incurable blood disorder," Draven told her softly and she sighed. "My apologies, king, sir," she mumbled sadly and Damon brushed it off and studied her closely. "No worries dear, it was a long time ago," he said softly but sadness was still present in his dark eyes. I could sense the concern Violet felt for the lonely bloodsucker and it irritated me immensely. My mate and soon-to-be wife had a very compassionate nature.

His bloodline granted him a purple aura that multiplied as he grew. He achieved Chrysopoeia Grade by the age of 200 and passed Thunder Raid handily. Now at 250, he was easily one of the strongest Chrysopoeia Graders. 50 years more, and he could easily join the ranks of Nascens Grade.

"Even me, I feel guilt. I feel bad." They both took a deep breath. "Supposedly, he should still rest, but I didn't see him leave or even rest," said Violet. Khali frowned. "Vincent? Violet nodded. "Because he donated blood to you, sis. Your blood type doesn't match Rye or us, so we went after a donor. And as it turns out, Vincent's blood type is possible." Khali got a little surprised. Not after everything he’s taken from me.” She moved closer, until I could smell her, that mix of strength and something dangerously familiar.

Ramon Fridling was the only thing in her mind, Violet was hell bent on killing him, it was another mission of hers, to kill Ramon Fridling because he was the reason why Scarlet died. If Scarlet didn’t marry him, she was going to be alive today, but she isn’t.

She picked one and clutched it tightly making the soft skin of her hand cut and blood running on the broken glass. Alex kept staring at the wall blankly, fuming silently over his own insult. His mind already raced towards his plan to ruin this marriage and his enemies. Because Zenith had become his enemy now. “You are not taking my man from me, Violet!” She hissed as she eyed the blood painted glass shred. “Today, I am crying blood tears but tomorrow you will suffer the same fate!” She promised herself. “I will make you go through the same humiliation I went through because of you tomorrow!”

I say. "For what she expended." Maret chooses her words carefully. Sets them down like objects she is placing on a surface she isn't sure will hold them. "What she carries, what was revealed tonight, it isn't something we have a reference for. Not in living memory. The Moonblood hasn't manifested fully in generations." She pauses. "She used a significant portion of it in a very short time. The shift. The fight. And then what she did for you." She says that last part without inflection.

Blood, my mate's blood, ignited a fire within me. "Ezra…is that you?" Her voice, soft and fragile, reached me. Emerald eyes, once vibrant, met mine as she struggled to focus. "Yes, it’s me," I affirmed, gripping her right hand tightly, locking gazes with her. "You...came for me," she whispered, her voice barely audible. She extended a trembling hand toward my face, her strength fading. Yet, her touch faltered, and she lost consciousness before she could reach me. "Violet, wake up! Tell me who did this to you!" I pleaded, lifting her gently into my arms. Her damaged state pierced my heart, rendering her nearly lifeless in my embrace.
