Billy's eyes grew darker at Natalie's current situation. "I'm so scared!" Grace wiggled her hips. She didn't give a damn about it. "And you, you're getting more and more disgusting! You're a mean woman! You made such a scene here!" Billy looked savagely at Sherman. He got more irritated. And his hatred for her got intensified.

The sound was so raw that it made your heart twist even if you didn’t know what was going on. “Billy?” I barely had time to react before Gracie, startled by her brother’s cries, began wailing too. I immediately started panicking and grabbed Billy’s hand again leading them both toward an empty corner beside a closed shop. I crouched down in front of him, trying to meet his eyes. “What’s wrong, Billy? Did something happen? I’d failed. Billy howled again, slightly more toward the north than before. I turned and headed for the noise. When I got closer, I caught his scent. I slide back into the story, losing myself in a world where my life is not a total mess. My eyes run fast across the words. My heart starts beating super fast as the lead warrior, Will, grabs hold of Marnie’s wrist and pulls her thick body right against his chest. Marnie gasps, her eyes falling right onto the warrior's lips. I hold my breath. Will pushes her back until her body hits the wooden door, trapping her there. I swallow hard.
