A city glimmers there, unfamiliar but alive, wolves and humans moving in the distant streets. A new realm. A fresh start. Staring at each other for a couple of seconds before a burst of ridiculous laughter resonated inside the office. “Sorry, not sorry.” Shadow shook her hand in the air. Malikul leaned backward and breathed out. Again, the room turned quiet. Shadow shifted her gaze and pointed to the book with her free feet. It was an ugly position but Malikul already loved her anyway. She would look lovely regardless of her behavior. “After all, regular people will struggle and have nightmares if they were to keep it,” said her. “Is it because the relics are full of ominous auras?”

Chandler's legs gave way, and he sank to the floor. He stared blankly at the blood-covered flesh on his hand, murmuring, “It’s really her, it’s really her… “How could this happen?” He asked as he gazed at Ben, his eyes bloodshot, panic and anger surging within him. With a wave of his arm, he sent everything nearby crashing to the ground. Then, he seized Ben’s collar. “Bring me all the data on A167!” His voice trembled as he sank into despair. “Wasn’t it said that the special drug was supposed to be effective?”

I plead, and she looks into my eyes, searching for any hesitation, but when she doesn’t, she drops my hands and moves away. “Fine, I’ll tell you.” My excitement is swiftly wiped away by her next words. “The shadow god is an abomination. He was never supposed to be born. He’s the product of an unholy ritual, an anomaly.”

"He took my life, my identity, and now he's living with my name, my degrees. How can I just let that go?" I gave his back a comforting pat and met his gaze. "In a few days, when the weird end of days rolls in, we'll make him pay." Jim gave a small nod, his skin cooling down, no longer fired by my blood. Right then, I noticed something odd, the weak Haunts that had barely any strength were suddenly frantically feasting on my leftover blood. Their once translucent bodies filled with vigor as they started to circle and swoop around me. "I've got a plan!"

🥀 OTHELLO’S POV 🥀 Hell was chaotic, surrounded by the echoes of madness and despair. Shadows danced around, strange birds flew and cried in the sky, and the surroundings were filled with darkness and flames from inside the real hell. The air inside was thick and heavy, like a physical presence pressed against my skin. I could feel the weight of history bearing down on me, the accumulated fears and sorrows of the countless people who had entered this place. I was trapped.

The best decision is to manipulate the shadows instead of those in the shadows. La Oscuridad had always been a shadow to me, and one this I kept at a distance until now. But the time to bring them closer was now and use them to my advantage. Halo Oscuro wanted something from me or he wouldn't have invited me and kept on pressing in and I have every intention of using his desire to execute my own wishes.

The magical artifact glowed brightly, lending the imperial forces renewed vigor as they charged towards the remaining outlaws. Suddenly, there was a loud piercing screech and a large shadow fell on the outlaws as an enormous creature blocked the sun.

“The shadow and the Wielder is like an eternal tag team. Your shadow feeds to the energy you’re giving it; likewise, it gives back an energy that allows you, the wielder, to wield the abilities you possess.” Mr. Hail’s voice brought him back to reality, though only for a moment because he then felt a little sleepy. Keeping in mind that Mr. Hail wouldn’t take it lightly, he tried his best to listen as he unveiled theories and techniques that’d enable them to take care of their shadow as an equal. He didn’t get any of them, though. His mind was rejecting the idea, saying it’s nothing but a pile of trash. After all, it wouldn’t be used when they’re already in battle.
