The page was titled “Bloodline” and there was a picture of a wicked-looking blade down one side. The writing was a little faded and handwritten, but despite all that, it felt so familiar and I could read it, like it was something I had read a thousand times before.

What sort of magic is she using? "We can't use her name, Papa, because whenever her name is mentioned, you become dazed," I said worriedly, and he nodded. "That's a problem. Then what should we do?" The first one I laid eyes on was “Casting Magic for Dummies.” I laughed, unbelievable that they even have such a book, but I shouldn’t be too surprised. Maybe the author was a wizard himself. I plucked it from the shelf and meandered towards a set of tables, plopping my treasures down. I sat at the table and decided to start reading, starting with the year 1970.

I muttered, opening the first page. I needed to start working on myself so that I could erase all thoughts of Xavier’s sister from his memory. On the first page of the book was a table of content, showing all that was to be found in the book. I scrolled down from the introduction and jumped to “Casting your first spell.” I traced my finger on the dotted lines and found the page number. I opened the book and when I got to this page, I stopped. The name of the contact was boldly written in capital letters and it took the whole page. Opening to the next page, I found it’s content.

It was the second time I burned myself with my cup of tea. I had recently bought it when I discovered an internet store about literary articles, and I instantly fell in love with the Harry Potter-themed cup that only required the coat of arms belonging to the book when it was filled to the top by a smoking liquid. Most of the time, I just filled it with water just to have the pleasure of seeing the dark color giving way to the brightness that contained the drawing of the most famous magnificent witchcraft school in the literary world.
