Your expressions are kinda readable.” Josephine told her how they can tell what's going on in her mind. When Adeline was back in Allister house everyone was happy to have her back. She noticed only Vasili was missing there. So she excused herself and went to meet her husband. When she opened the door the room was dark and it was filled with smoke.

“He’s a scum, Adela. You’d never be happy with him anyway.” Adela gave him a grateful look before continuing. “He wouldn’t let me leave. He tied me down and took the amulet. Then… he pulled out a small book and began reading from it. Chanting something. I didn’t understand the words, but I felt them. They clawed at my mind. The light in the room dimmed, and everything started to blur. I knew something was happening to me, but I couldn’t fight it.” She shook slightly. “It was like my memories were being pulled out of me one by one. I forgot who I was. Why I was there. Everything just… slipped away.”

The room felt so cold. Adrain slowly walked towards her, his footsteps echoed through the room. Tap! Tap!! Tap!!! He stopped beside her. Clara quickly closed her eyes. She remembered what the ghost had told her, Don’t look into his eyes. No matter what happens… Don’t do it. “Clara,” Adrain called her softly. She refused to answer. “Look at me!” She shook her head. “No,” Clara refused. His voice remained calm. “I said…. Look at me.”

It made sense to him that Adrian had lost his mind and had murdered these innocent families, those children. “Okay look at these. I found them in my father’s house after his funeral,” Adrian said and handed Robert three old books, bound in leather. Robert opened the first book and began to read. It held accounts of wolf sightings, transformation ceremonies, councils, people with powers, how to kill a wolf and much more. There were detailed drawings and Robert could tell by the faded ink that the books were old indeed. Adrian knew the truth.

I swiped the notes and began reading. About five hours had passed and Adeline was still reading not realizing how long it had been that she had not been seen in the 'Actual world' ~~~~~~ "Adeline" I heard someone's voice call out my name but I had simply thought it was Christan's voice in my imagination, I yawned and rubbed my eyes tiredly not realizing the person staring at me, my back ached from laying down against the cold tiles, I had to change position when It was necessary. She gathered her thoughts before realizing she’s not in her apartment. She’s at someone else’s and she didn’t know whose. Adeline could feel the bed moving and she’s lying to it, although she’s not the one moving. She carefully turned her head on the right side to see who’s sleeping right next to her, and a piercing scream broke the morning silence.
