I snuggled closer to Jonas. “Now that I’ve formed a mate bond with you, he means nothing to me. As far as I’m concerned, Aden died that day on the battlefield.”
“Don’t you hate him?” Jonas asked.
“Hate?” I chuckled, playfully rubbing my nose against Jonas’s. “Why would I hate a dead man?”
Hearing that, Aden felt like his soul had been ripped out of him.
